Arrows from Above: K, Sch, Kor, Arch

With due haste a carriage arrives once again from above. Its wings our stretched the feathers are black. Swooping down quickly it doesnt land but the driver signals for you to grab ahold. Awkwardly grabbing on you make it on. Soaring over the enemy troops the sword unit is seen retreating now that their general is no more. Looking to the back for the remaining troops a unit stands at the back.

As the carriage approaches a bombardment of arrows come flying up at the winged wagon. Making contact in various places the situation swiftly turns severe. Crashing down the carriage is destroyed. the bloodied corpse of the carriage driver tumbles away from his seat. Various arrows pertruding from his corpse his life has obviously come to an end.

A bit in the distance there is a troupe of men in red cloaks with bows in hand. In the center, a man now more than 5 feet in height stands. His armor shining bronze, he holds a magnificent bow in his grasp. Pure silver, he has no arrows on him. Drawing back the bow he unleashes the string. A bit ahead the air swirls and gathers. Compressed so tight that it takes on a form, the "arrow" formed from the wind crashes into the ground before you. Tearing up the terrain a crater is left in its place.

Koorlic Stumbling back manages to recollect himself and balance once again.

"Well well aren't you guys honorable. Well that was annoying, someone has to pay for that and it is not me." With that I look around to see how many grunts there are.

If there are less then five I plan to attack two (let's say grunts one and two) before attacking the general by kicking one into the other then slashing downwards at both of them at once (as they should be right on top of each other more or less).

If more then five I shall just attack the general by kicking him up, then I will jump up to slash him vertically down.

*Archaic wiping the dirt off of his body looks at Koku as he speaks and decides to put in his own two cents. As he prepares to speak, he also prepares his gladius from the forthcoming battle by tying a string to it and spinning it around.*

"I will try to take on grunt 3... I don't care if someone helps me or not just don't get in my way."

*Archaic eyes Koorlic as he says this. They have never battle together and thus Archaic has no idea what to expect, thus his hostility flares fully.*

"If anybody gets in my way... I will personally throw you into a group of enemies as to ensure you will never get in my way again! Hahaha."

(OOC I never attacked here, but I will edit it for continuity's sake.)

*Archaic eyes at one of the men and throws his gladius at him with a laugh.*

after watching koku and archiac charge i follow in charging at the closest man to me on the left side of the center man kickiing him back into the next one i then grab his right wrist with my left hand and pull him back towards me as i stab my gladius into his chest lift up, flipping him over me and following through with a stab through him to the ground.

"i dont think youll need to worry about that we all have experience in battle." i yell while charging

Silent as a shadow, Schmall slips in behind Archaic and stealthy charges in behind him, keeping Solomon held low and angled just right so that the sun may not glint on it and reveal his position. Once Archaic slows to attack, Schmall continues forward by pole vaulting up and over him, effectively soaring up and over the soldier too. Using the downward momentum from the jump, Schmall brings Solomon down to strike a tremendous blow to the man's shoulder. Once the attack is completed, Schmall dives ahead and to the side, spins around, and faces the oncoming charge head on. (ooc: about 5 feet archaic's left so that we both have room to maneuver)

Sparky flies down and pecks at the same soldier's hand in the hope of causing him to drop his weapon.

Archaic with great strength and speed tosses his gladius out at the crowd of archers, Stabbing into one of the men he falls dead and the gladius is retrieved. Schmall moving in stealthily then vaults up and comes crashing down with Solomon. The blade gaining momentum with the force of gravity it tears one of the archers in half. Koku rushing in hold back his scythe while he runs. Making it to the General(a bit of a distance to run) he swings his scythe with amazing force. A grunt however quickly steps in the way and takes the blow, dying instantly. Koorlic lumbering in grabs one of the near by archers by the wrist and pulls him onto the blade of his gladius.

"Ready! Loose arrows!" Exclaims the unintroduced general.

A flood of arrows come form above down upon the party. Three arrows crash down near archaic stepping to the side he avoid the first on but incidentally steps into the second one. wounded he grabs the arrows in his shoulder and breaks it off. Distracted as he removes it another arrow comes down into his chest.

Schmall as the arrows come down thinks quick and spins Solomon above him trying to avoid the damage. One Makes it though however and comes in deep into his chest. Feeling the pain he shudders and his vision blurs for a second. but regaining his senses he looks over to his other party members. Koku running in through the onslaught of arrows is nicked by a few but avoids severe damage.

Koorlic However is not so lucky. A barage of arrows pur upon him nicking him here and there but none making solid contact. Then slipping up, one makes it through his guard and pierces into his left lung. Koorlic gasping for breath somehow finds the strength to press on but looking over sees the guard captain in poor shape himself. An arrow formed out of condensed air rushes ina t the cloaked scythe wielder at blinging speeds. Catching it, an immense light radiates from Kokus hands. A loud band is heard and the dirt from around the area puffs up into a cloud, as it settles, Koku is seen. Not too badly hurt, his hands however are bloodied.

Stepping up the Archer General approaches and Laughs, "Ah so you can actually take a hit like that? Impressive! I am General Kakiashi of Hans Kibarachi's forces. I care not for the cause nor reasons that he chose to revolt, but t gives me the chance to test my new bow! Lets see how many more hits you can take." The General alughs as he draws back his bow.

Seeing three archers who just attacked us in a barrage of arrows. Angered I look at two of the archers (1 and 4). I take the first one and kick him into the other one, before they can move away I grab them both by the heads and smash their heads together, causing them to take a huge amount of damage, and possibly leaving to archers headless.

*Archaic spins his gladius on the long rope before launching it at Archer 16. He knew his allies will stick with the closer ones for now, but his specialty was ranged combat with melee weapons, and thus he will stick with this tactic to pick off the further enemies.*

"I hope you ate a lot of sugar before battle... I just love sweet tasting blood! Hahahaha."

"BLLOOOODDDD AANNNDDD VVIINNNNAAGGEERRRR!!!" screams Schmall as he charges head long at one of the closest soldiers, spinning Solomon over his head. The weapon spins faster and faster, gaining more power with each rotation, screaming louder and louder its own call for battle. Once in reach, Schmall brings Solomon down upon the head of the soldier. With a snarl, Schmall wrenches the weapon free and delivers a drop kick, forcing the soldier (dead or alive) to be knocked back into other soldiers.

Sparky joins into the foray by flying in the faces of the soldiers and delivering pecks here and there, not in the attempt to deal damage per say, but to simply distract and cause havoc among the ranks.

I quickly flip my sword so the blade is paralel to my forearm and embrace the next closest archer in a hug of death stabbing the sword into his back i then release him and flip my blade back around and finish with a diagnol slice from his right should to his left hip

Schmall tackling the trials directly in front of him Goes to attack the foe nearest by. However flying ahead a bit sparky pecks at the enemy troops. One of the archers, mroe than angered draws back his bow and aims for the bird near point blank. Mid swing, Schmall Senses something in solomon. the blade frees itself from the hands of the short assassin and is hurled at the archer aiming for the lump bird. The front end shattering the opponents bow, Schmall quickly catches up and retrieves the blade mid air. Coming down in a mighty swing after a spin overhead, he decimates his adversary.

Koku is already too close for the comfort of the archers Grabbing two he smashes their skulls together shattering the craniums of the fragile mortals. Archaic still at the back fight at a range himself and tosses his gladius out at one of the foes. Piercing into the heart of the enemy, a "graaaag" is heard archaic tries to retrieve the blade but alas it doesn't come free dragging back the corpse of the archer a trail of blood smears across the battle field. Archaic delighted takes in the smell of the blood soaked air.

Koorlic last to get into the action lumbers over to one of the bow users. With his massive form he grabs onto one of the archers. The bow of the opposing troop snaps against the warriors tight embrace, as Koorlic's gladius pierces into the back of the foe. Pushing him back koorlic raises his blade above his head and with one forceful swing splits the archer in two.

The warriors confident are once again assaulted by a barrage of arrows, after taking the hits, a howing is heard once again as the general steps up to shoot once more, catching the large warrior, Koorlic out the side of his eye, he directs his aim and looses his wind arrow at the warrior. Ripping though the shoulder of koorlic a spray of blood is releases and the occasional glimpse of bone can be see through the torn flesh and gushing blood.

*Archaic feels the arrows sticking out of him and pulls them out one-by-one, not caring what the after math of these actions are. Kneeling down he takes a handful of the archers blood and tastes it. While not as metallic as some other blood he has had before, he could tell that this archer was just bland and stuck to a diet. An other words, this blood did not please him. Picking him his gladius he twirls it above his head before launching towards a closer archer.*

"Your blood does not please me. Instead I will simply take.... your lives! Hahaha"

The screams of pain, the hollaring of orders, the battle cries, feeling of death, the clash of battle, the zipping of arrows, twang of bow strings, and the very thrill of the ongoing battle simply fuels the battle rage boiling within Schmall's veins. He becomes void of all emotions He feels the pulse of life and the anger stir within Solomon. Anger like that of a hurricane. An anger against these invaders that rape the land for food and supplies, giving nothing back in return. Not even respect and care. The anger seeps into Schmall's mind and blends, and becomes one with Schmall, fueling his battle rage even more. They become one. They become nature's wrath.

With a snarl that cuts through the chaotic sounds of the battle, Schmall charges the next soldier, holding the massive bladed end of Solomon low and to the side. The smaller blade is high on the other side of him. Once only a few feet away, Schmall leap forwar and up, bringing the serrated side of Solomon up into the chin of the doomed soldier, snapping his back. As soon as Schmall lands on the other side of the archer, he drops to one knee, pivots on it, and slashes parallel to the ground straight at the back of the same archer's knees. He follows through by spinning back up to this feet to face the rest of the remaining archers and the general.

Sparky, feeling his companion's lust for battle, lets out his own cry of "FFWWUUTT!!" and dives down at the same soldier that Schmall is attacking. He waits for Schmall to finish his leap and then dive down to peck at the man's face as Schmall slashes at the knees.

Deciding that it is fun to take two at a time I grab hold of one guy and snap his neck, delivering a quick death to him. I throw his body at a group of archers and whichever one it hits, I will kill. Hitting one I go up to him and punch into his solar plex before I deliver a strong kick downwards into his chest. Taking his head off his body I lob it to the general to show what will become of him.
