So the next update is going to be armor and potentially some summons. Sorry for the spoiler, but of course you can wait to see what they are exactly. Anyways here is the thing. As far as armor is concerned, would you rather see more items that offer varied defense or items that have other abilities? Right now i feel there are only two legitimate armors for one to really use for actual defense, those being aluminum and bronze platings. So i was curious as to if you wanted some middle grade armor that offered about thirty defense? If you are all content with just these two then i will proceed to give the newer armors ability focus rather than defense, so let me know your opinions.

Hrmm I would like to see more cloaks with some interesting powers, and possibly some middle ground armor may be nice (too bad I'm running rather short on GC XD). However, I will say that there are other armors that are worth wearing for defense. Armor such as Unholy Remains are practically invaluable in situations that you know will have curse users (such as Schmall's role play now.) _________________

I think it will be good to have more armor for defense, but abilities are much more important and add more to the ways to make the character. Along these lines, maybe instead of making armor, maybe more accessories that can have some abilities. That way someone can have three things equipped to the armor area and have unique combinations. I will be willing to calculate everythign if this is the case, and I think it can make things fun. _________________

There is always the possibility of going with the accessories. Rings are a common thing for magical bonuses. So instead, for the sake of being different, we can go with tatoos or something. Once you have one, you have to either keep it, or pay big GC to get rid of it before getting another. Only one at a time of course for the magic energies of two would be too much. just a thought
As for Archaic's idea for cloaks, that I would have to agree with. I like the combonation of armor for defense and cloaks adding the bonuses. Sure, there is armor that adds bonuses too, but that makes the combos even more fun.

The tattoo thing would be iffy. I think Fable might have licensed that for themselves. Besides, why only one tattoo, and why only magic. I mean, it can also somehow boost physical strength, and it could be located on the head, back. feet or arms. The cloaks are slightly lacking now (though they are all good), so having more might be cool. _________________

I guess I wasnt very clear. I didnt mean magic as in divine, elemental, or cursed magic. I meant magical in nature. The bonuses themselves can be anything. I said tatoos for you dont see them all that often.
We can just say "Jewelry" and let the characters/players decided exactly what it is and just simply buy the bonuses. This way the characters are even more unique. We dont have everyone running around with a ring or two. Someone could go for earrings, another for a bracelet, and a couple could even run a chain from a nose ring to an earring if they wanted. You get the idea. Schmall would be interested in some kind of anklet of dull metal (not shiny I mean) to enhance his speed (may count for priority, but foot speed in general). _________________ When I visit reality, I go as a tourist

| Well as with everything else it will make it easier for me to add mroe once the system is redone as i wont have to add four at a time. Anyways that aside there will be a new item that will slightly add one level of depth and the organization of items also allows for some more possibilities with what you can equip while wearing what. As for this set, i think that there is going to be a new cloak, however other than that i have drawn out two of the armors, one is a VERY special pieces of armor! It will be a really great item to ahve and iwill try to make it as affordable as possible. |
