A mere few miles outside of the city of Evroul, a small ranch in the making can be found, though currently the property more resembles a quaint house with a large pen out front. Two small red mere can be found grazing the grass, as Constantine, the owner of the ranch, tends to the repairs being made on the old house. Upon seeing a new visitor approaching her humble ranch, Constantine waves the newcomer over.

"Unfortunately, we've not any babies as of yet, but soon as they're available they'll be for sale at a... reasonable price"

Constantine smiles at the newcomer, though from the looks of her expression, it seems unlikely that the red mere babies will be at a cheap price. Predicting the possible hesitation of possible buyers, Constantine continues speaking.

"Course they'll be the finest red meres around, breeding the things runs in the family. Hand raised so they're nice and strong, or if you're not into that fighting business, they make great pets."

Constantine nods to herself as she throws a bit of hay into the pen,

"And of course, if you don't have much gold we can always work out a bit of a trade you see."

Constantine dusts off her hands and long skirt before nodding the newcomer, "Anyway, I'd best get back to work, so unless you want to help out, you'd be wise to clear out"

She grabbed the two water buckets nearest her and nodded once more to the visitor, "Come back later if you're interested in making a deal"

Making my way into the field as I follow Gerald, I look at the red mere who seem happy enough here. I see Gerald go over to the red mere and drop the berries in its mouth to feed them. Making my way over to the hard working breeder I show no hostility. "It appears that you do indeed take good care of these red mere. They seem like they are happy for now, and are smart enough to stay away from danger. Please continue on with the hard work, I am sure you will be very successful if you keep up the hard work." With that I start to go slowly and calmly towards the red mere to try to watch one.

Constantine nods in acknowledgement at Koku's presence, continuing her ranch duties and paying no mind to the new visitor. She busies herself with a few basic tasks before returning to Koku, dusting herself off and nodding to him,

"For a small fee of 5 GC I can let you play with them or pet them. They like meeting new people, it's good for socializing them"

Constantine reached down into the pen to pet at the female red mere's head before petting the male's.

"The boy's name is Bacon, and the girl's name is Eggs, funny little things they are"

Constantine hummed to herself before leaning against the pen,

"So what say you, want to play with them?"

Paying no head to the words my attention is wane as I watch the interaction between bird and meres. I see Gerald start to leave and I make sure to be right behind him.

Noticing nobody at the counter, I place 5 gc down and jump the fence to visit the new animal.

After some time, I call out, "What would you like for the unnamed red mere?"

After weeks of neglect Constantine returns to the ranch with a look of confusion, seemingly having just remembered that the ranch existed. After seeing that the three red mere were still alive, Constantine posted a sign on the front of the ranch gate, stating that the three highest bidders would each receive one of the remaining red meres.
