Evroul
*A peaceful valley town located between within the Lesear Mountain range

Town Resources
-The town is famous for its large fields of Uticensium which upon pollination produces a nectar known as Utsen.
-The town does not use currency and dislikes the Capital. It runs off of a socialist government system as opposed to the feudal one.

Villagers
Heather(and her baby Moses)
Chozou-the village leader who swore an oath to his father to never let the village fall under imperial rule.
Artistal- a crazy man who constantly talk to the Tonsor
Elle- A teenage girl responsible for overseeing the growth of the Uticensium after her parents died
Cecille The orphan daughter of Ector 6 years old, (follows Elle around)
Taki- a lump bird that lives among the Tonsor.

Beanbaker arriving in the town of Evroul is at first astounded by the falsehood of what seems to have been written on the back of the quest token. At quick glance, life seems to be going on as normal. Not having been to the town for a while, its almost nostalgic and the uticensium flowers are in the autumnal bloom right before they wilt for the winter.

Bean spots Chozou, but the village leader averts his eyes form the guard and continues to work hauling some large basket on his muscular back and bringing it into a rather large building. The building that he disappears gives off a feeling different from that of the other structures in the humble town. Its walls are squared, and it is constructed from a clay painted white. Smooth and modern, the cubic structure contrasts far too greatly with the cottages formed of logs and hay that dot the town scape.

I walk up to the side of the building and feel the smooth surface. I look around to find any distinctive markings or signs that give a away the building's purpose.

After I walk to the entrance of the building, and wait for any sign of the leader or the people, going in or coming out of the building.

Waiting for quite a while, beanbaker demonstrates great patience. Finally his waiting pays off and the leader of the village exits without his heavy load. The door closing quickly, Beanbaker is unable to see inside the structure. The village leader looking down and away from the guard as he passes by drips some blood from his mouth and them stumbles a bit. Getting back to his feet he continues back into the village ignoring the guard completely.

"Chozou, wait!" I run up and attempt to hold him up with my arm to help him back. "What is going on here? Who did this to you? Is everyone else alright?"

He weakly brushes your arm away and continues to walk on his own. entering a small cottage he goes inside, you hear a plank of wood drop down locking the door.

"Sigh... I don't know if they've knocked the pride right out of him."

I return to the painted building. Studying the door first, I make three large, swift strikes to the door. I step back some distance away from the door, not know what could possibly be on the other side. I cover my jutte with my clothing to make my appearance less conspicuous.

*Archaic enters Evroul and looks at the village. He has been here before and just remembered that he was supposed to collect taxes, but has been shirking the responsibility the past couple months. He makes his way to Chozou's home and knocks on the door before entering.*

"I have been lenient as of late, but I need to collect your taxes for the imperial court."

Kicking down the metal door, you are surprised a bit by your own strength. A long hallway leads to a throne made of pure white porcelain. Ominous pillars line either side of the hall, and two torches glow beside a throned giant. The man though sitting and at a distant looks enormous and could easily be 12 feet tall. His body is wide and his stomach fat.

You get no response from knocking.

*Archaic knocks once more for formality sake before trying to push the door down, knowing that if this didn't work, he could simply jump through the window.*

"I'm coming in whether its convenient or not. This is official business from the court and I do expect some payment."

I take a few steps into the hall. "Who are you? Are you the one tormenting the people and draining their resources for your... hefty self?"

I grab the gnarled end of my jutte, still hidden under the clothing. By standing in a swordsman stance, I count on that he does not immediately recognize my status.

Archaic, knocking down the door finds the wounded Chozou collapsed on the floor.

Meanwhile, bean baker, slowly creeping down the hall comes to s top, putting his hand on his jutte but hiding it with his stance, he readies himself. Asking who the large man is at the end of the hall the silence seems to grow even greater as an eerie laugh fills the hall.

*Archaic eyes Chozou and walks over to him. Noticing the wounds Archaic surveys the room carefully before approaching him and taking a closer look at the injuries. Taking a breath and gripping his blade, Archaic lays down the leader and walks out of the house.*

"WHO DID THIS!"

*Archaic lets out a yell and slowly marches through town with his gladius in his hand in such a manner that the blade is perpendicular with his hand. He wasn't angry at the fact that Chozou was hurt, he was angry that it would take longer to complete this task. Plus the fact that someone strong was in Evroul was exciting as his gladius (and himself) thirsted for blood.*

"WHO EVER WENT INTO CHOZOU'S HOUSE, COME OUT NOW! 1, 2, 3, 4..."

*Archaic didn't care if his caused the townsfolk to worry, he just wanted to get the battle to commence soon.*

I ask again, more stern than before - "WHO are you, and WHAT have you done to this town?!?" I hunch down a little and ready my arms for anything.

Archaic, examining Chozou's body finds that it is covered in bruises with whip makrs all along his back. Though still alive, the once strong leader of Evroul seems to be in quite poor shape, and despite being of a relatively healthy age, his face seems to have gained years far more than those that have passed. After walking out into the streets of the town archaic makes his exclamation for the one responsible to come forward. No one however heads his words. Ignoring him, the villagers continue to do their tasks with faces and expressions ruled by fear.

Beanbaker still in the hall stares at the man. The rotund figure forms a sickening smile upon his face and his eyes darken, however, his body remains still.
