A new free mmorpg came out about a couple weeks ago and I have to say I am still hooked to it. In it one uses weapons called nanobots to fight ghosts (monsters, mostly soulless humans, and the likes of those two) in different areas of one city. The nanobots are pretty interesting in the way that they combine with your body so some will alter your appearance quite a lot, while others (swords) do not do too much at all.
Along with yourself leveling, your weapons will level as well, and after reaching a few levels, some will be able to level up to a stronger form up to a point. Furthermore, you are able to combine specific nanobots together to make a whole new one, there are not infinite amounts of these fusions, and in fact they will just fuse to a different form that you could create otherwise, BUT by fusing two nanobots together instead of creating said nanobot, you are able to use that new weapon 2 levels earlier (as the nanobots do have character level restrictions when creating and fusing. Fusing it is two levels lower than the nanobot level and when making it from scratch it requires you to be the same level as it).
The character customization is a lot but limited at the same time. The armor itself is just street clothes. After gaining some levels you can get new clothes, OR you can buy/ fuse upgrades called SOMA to your old clothing so that you can keep the old look while still having good stats. A level 50 (the highest level) can look like a level 1, but will have SOMA that are holy crap better. In that way the game is really fun. If you get bored of how you look you can also pay an npc to de-equip SOMA attached to clothing to put it on a different one. The reason it is not ranked as highly customized is because everyone pretty much looks similar minus the head part (what hair/hat combo you chose). I like the game a lot and will be playing a ton, but will also be stopping by here every now and then.
