So i had two wisdom teeth removed today, the top two, both sides. Anyways i asked for an extra shot as im good with things like that and would rather feel awkward and numb than the pain of having the tooth pulled. Anyways i swear it was a fancy screw driver that he used, in the dentists words,
"So basically, im just gunna jam this into your gum and fish around for the root and pull it out."
I trust him as he has been in the business for 33 years and he only explained it to me becuz i asked. Anywyas there is all this crap i ahve to do for the next 24 hour now and meds to go with it. To be honest though the x-rays at the dentist were really the worst part and right now(im still numb) the only thing bothering me is that i keep chocking on the gauze.....
Anyways i got to keep the teeth.

| Oh so no dry sockets then? Well if everything went ok than that's good to hear! Wisdom teeth are most certainly a frightening thing in dentistry today as there are so many horror stories out there. Maybe I should convince my mother to take me to the dentist soonish to see if I have any... even if we don't have dental insurance. |

| Yeah thats another thing, he said i keep amazing care of my teeth(which i do) and that there were no problems other than the wisdom, and upon pulling them out he showed me and talked to me about how there was plaque on the wisdom and that for this reason even if they werent growing ins traight they should've been pulled. Evidently even if you think you are brushing them they are so far back that you are most likely no able to get them properly. |

Dentists these days you have to be careful with. Its not so much the horror stories you here about. Its the stories about how they are more crooked than lawyers. So if you have a good honest one, great! I wouldnt trust any dentist that I dont personally know or no one can honestly refer them for me.
As for my own teeth, I havent seen one for years. I have never had a cavity and dont brush my teeth any where often enough. So I do need to see one sometime. _________________ When I visit reality, I go as a tourist

Yeah I need to see a dentist too. I know that I do not floss enough (really never), and I need to use more mouth wash so they are bound to yell at me. I just have bad memories because the dentist I used to go to used to hurt when he drilled, which I guess should not have happened according to another dentist I went to more recently (a year ago). _________________
