So ive unlocked the true full potential maximum power Supa-combo-ataku-deshita of the web browser known as safari.
Once you learn to use it safari comes with a built in page clipper. Allow me to explain.
In addition to multiple desktops, mac has a dashboard, which is .....hmm to describe it....like a sheet of clearplastic that you can slide over your desktop in a instant(one button, combo, or putting the mouse in a corner of the desktop). This can have any number of widgits on it.
Safari has the ability to clip a part of a webpage and make it a widgit. BUT IT STILL STAYS LIVE!
So in other words, my comp tracks fansub group updates!

I don't like Safari. I call it Mac's version of IE. I'm such a hater. XD
That is pretty spiffy though, would have never known that. _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jon Cocteau |

Safari is so far from IE its unthinkable.
IE fails almost all tests of standards compliance by the W3C. The latest build of Safari passes almost every test. For a web developer, Safari is really easy to code for.
Just wiki ACID3 and check out Safari's results.
That being said, Safari only accounts for 0.8% browser usage globally... _________________ Let the power of youth Explode! |

Most people aren't very tech savvy and just use plain IE. Mine konked out on me so I got firefox (best decision ever). Some people who use computers have this (extremely sad and pathetic) problem:

lol, nice. I can't believe someone actually made a help reference for that.
That being said, Opera is a nice little browser, too. Similar to Safari in many ways, but slightly more used. _________________ Let the power of youth Explode! |

| It is but over opera i still recommend Safari, FF is very good too, however i feel that with that it is up to user preferenc enad not one necessarily being better, though one can be better for how someone uses the internet. For my purposes safari is ideal. I feel as though others should still try it for at least a week or so though. |

I will still use Fire Fox 2 (yes I upgraded to 3, but I made it so that everythign is the way it was in FF2). Still, I highly doubt that page i s real, or at least I pray it is not. If someone can not find any key then there may be a problem . _________________

It might be fake, I typed out the address, but if you look in the very top right hand corner of the page (not on the browser toolbars) there is a date, February 23, 2001, so the page may have existed at one time. Even google searching key words get nowhere (as usual). Still, the picture gets the point through. People can be idiots when it comes to technology, and it is usually people around our age group and lower that understand it more than adults. _________________ "I know you are here to kill me. I'll stick to my Firefox.
As for the help reference, I'm really not surprised that someone would post that. _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jon Cocteau |
