Walking the shores of the capital, Billgar stumbles and falls into the sand.
"Surely, we wouldnt just fall. Perhaps someone left trash on the beach."
Looking down a pile of black fabric is washed up on the shore. Billgar getting a stick procedes to poke it a few times. Continuing with his investigation, he turns it over, and lets out a scream of shock. Fumbling through his silks, he pulls out a revival stone and brings the corpse back to life.
"Koku?"

Coughing up some water I look around confused. Seeing the emperor I slowly get on my feet. "So the waves will take corpses from the south onto these beaches, good to know. Hi sir, I guess I got surrounded by kamekichi and was dragged into the water with them."

I walk down the beach, scratching my neck.  "I think a tooth is stuck in it.  Those turtles made great company.  At least Shackleton poaches no more."

Attempting to crack my neck in the ugliest of ways.  "When did we have waterfront property?"

"Yeah that guy was nothing but bad news. That woman was suspicious too. Oh, I forgot to mention about the Kamekichi. Emperor, you may have seen them yourself, but if not know they are these turtles that ambush people by burying under ice then attacking in packs. They are bad news and make the icy desert rather unpleasant."

"Really? We have never heard of these 'monsters' before. Could you elaborate?"

His eminence smiles with interest as he speaks.

They are large heavy creatures that have shells rumored to be worth a small fortune each, but to get to them and o get back is a feat in itself, let alone the fact they fight in packs and their first move usually spells disaster for at least one man. They blend in well with their environment, which makes me think they may be the pray of even larger creatures not yet known. It is best to leave them alone there is easier ways to make a fortune. Another creature we stumbled upon was a very large serpent, much similar to the validian serpents. The sea is an unbelievable place, as is the icy land in the north.

"This thrills Us greatly, surely there are many creatures we have yet to even dream about, as even just speaking of the land to the north, there must be more than just these turtles? What do they eat? What do they fear? When We are ready, perhaps we shall travel back to the north in a quest of exploration!"

Traveling there is only a good idea with a well armored ship and with some system to make sure no one gets dragged back into the sea. However, further knowledge of the land may be beneficial to them and us. I suppose it may be a good thing to look into.

"Once long ago, you took a voyage upon a ship. Sadly I forget the captain's name, but he weld a weapon of immeasurable power. fortunately you were able to trick him into entering the old palace, where he was slain, and the weapon destroyed. We wonder perhaps if there is a way in which to use a similar technology but on a larger scale? Some sort of device that launches large metal balls? If this were to be equipped upon a ship, surely the benefits would be great, and perhaps even aid in an endeavor such as this?"

Well the weapon used projectiles launched out of a chamber. I do not know the exact mechanisms, but perhaps someone else may. Someone had to create that weapon, and I am sure that there are some around Nocte who know how it is done too. We can ask them for assistance.

"Yes this seems like indeed it would be a great test for Frederick Edwards? You remember him correct? The kind old man(ooc: truthfully insane) that invented the flying carriage?"

Yes indeed, I am sure he would not mind trying to create it, if he has not yet one upped it like I would imagine he has. He will laugh at such a simply request.

*as the two highest ranked officials stand talking by the shores of the capital a figure casually approaches.*

"Hail! im out my morning jog, Koku, your Eminence, how are you both? I hope this morning finds you well." Sanshin Dachi Charismatically questions.

"We are quite well!" responds the emperor

From the distance yet another dot appears on the horizon. as it get closer it is clearly a tonsor.

"Gerald!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Billgar grabs the bird and spins around with a wide smile and joy in his eyes

"Sanshin how are you, I see you are still busily training. Gerald, I wondered what happened to you when you ran off, I could not find you anywhere. It appears that a grand reunion is taking place now." With that I look to see my wass running behind Gerald. "Ah now things are better."
