I walk down the dusty street and stop in front of the Slop. "What a boring town this has become! There is no more fun without Schmall."

I look around and see an abandoned store. Although its good have been long looted, many bottles are lying around from drunkards leaving the tavern and falling asleep with their bottles under here. After picking up the bottles and cleaning up any filth, I set up a row of ten bottles along the old counter, and set up some items on the shelves adjacent to it. I go outside and grab as many rocks of the same size (about an inch in diameter) and place them in a box.

"Come one, come all! Test your accuracy - knock the bottles over and win prizes! Only one try per customer, but it is FREE!!! NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!!!"

A paper hangs off the doorway:

10 Targets (Grand Prize) : A free round-trip visit and stay to the Ripish Island (only three trips availble), a Thunder Drum, or three of any combination of prizes below.

7-9 Targets : Ancient Bark, Quasin Petal, or Strange Dust.

4-6 Targets : Eliminated, please select one item from "7-9" category.

1-3 Targets : Utsum, Koku Plush, or Welting Thorn.

*Any prize catagory that is completely depleted will allow the player to select an item from the next catagory up, excluding the grand prizes (unless everything else has been depleted) but instead they may select TWO objects in any combination from the lower catagories.

**Either hit or miss. 50/50 chance of hitting.

Koku's Turn

Koku aims steadily, but it just doesn't seem like its his day after a few tries. The first bottle falls with a *fwink*, then shatters on the ground. A few consecutive misses follow.

Throw 1: Hit

Throw 3: Miss
Throw 4: Miss
Throw 5: Hit
Throw 6: Hit
Throw 7: Miss
Throw 8: Miss
Throw 9: Hit
Throw 10: Miss

"Four out of ten. Not bad. Choose whatever you want in the appropriate category, and thanks for playing!"

Archaic's Turn

His first throw ricocheted off the first bottle, drawing the laughter of some nearby children sitting around on an abandoned porch. Archaic quickly withdrew his smile, and rapidly threw the other nine rocks, drawing the kid's attention to awe at the assassin's dexterity.

I sweep up the ten-bottle mess on the floor. "I am thinking of charging 20 GC per game once things die down, but we should give anyone who comes by a free chance. All proceeds will go to the families that need the assistance. So, stop by again, you may get another chance."

Koorlic's initial throw brings forth a chuckle from a passerby. He stays in the window, hoping to see some sort of comedy. He is quickly astonished at the five consecutive hits in the end, and walks off embarrassed.

The very first bottle takes a direct hit as it shatters upon the rock's impact. The first four hits start astounding the young onlookers, making groans of disbelief as they see the hit streak disappear upon the fifth bottle.

I can't help a bit of laughter as I realize there is only one prize in the 'appropriate category'.

Replacing the smile on my face with a perplexed wrinkle to my forehead, I say as seriously as I can, "It was a tough decision, but I think I will go with the Afro Plant."
