Spice Market

Welcome to the spice market, here spice can be bought and sold by unit. The spice when purchased will appear in the user display next to your posts. The spices are displayed in this order next to your posts.

Heft, Rost, Hence, Werd, Stenge, Grot.

You can hold no more than ten of a particular spice at a time, and if you possess ten, then it is displayed with a capital X.

(so 100X04 would mean that you have, 1 Heft, 10 Werd and 4 Grot)

To store more spice, purchase larger spice boxes in this thread. By Nocte law, you are permitted to own no more than one spice box at a time, and they can neither be sold nor traded. Also you can track the fluctuation and check the various uses of spices here as well.

Heft is a strange spice that smells sweat when heated or burned. Used commonly as incense by the people in Luminous it adds a rather sour taste to food, which contradicts its sweet smell.

With a deep red color one can image how spicy Rost may be. But don't be deceived! It actually provides a more mild burning sensation than a true spiciness and very scarcely affects taste. This burning sensation however opens the taste buds to enhance the flavor of foods.

Hence is one of the more powerful spices on the market. With a strong minty flavor adding too much often ruins food. Its most common use is having whole leaves added on top of desserts.

Though its appearance and intensity are similar to Hence, Werd provides a very salty flavor. It is commonly used as a food preservative.

Stenge has neither a taste nor a scent, but its use is unparalleled by other spices. When mixed in the right quantities with Got, it forms into a unique liquid that removes odor from foods that it is used in(if cooked).

Discovered not so long ago on the border of Nocte by a rural farmer, this spice native solely to Nocte is best used with other spices in which case it serves as a power up to their effects.

A spice that bears a deep black coloration. Exclusive found on the islands of Ripish, Tornash, and Tattesh one may stumble across it on occasion near an underground lake in the extensive network of caves that connect the three islands. Its uses are still debatable, but Wass seem to enjoy it.
