Billgar having stormed out of the capital pushes the giant red doors that guard the kingdom open himself. the fly back and slam into the walls that surround the island utopia. Guards come running to close the doors, it takes a unit of about 40 men per door to close them, and even then it is a slow process.

The contrastingly athletic form of his eminence crosses the red bridge. Getting to the other end, he looks back to see if Koku is following.

Jumping down from the left large door I land halfway across the bridge. Letting my wass out of my hands I soon catch up to Billgar. "Finally, another adventure, this shall be fun!"

"Yes it has been a while. . . . . . . "

A carriage arrives for them to enter. Pulled by a lacrimabilis it seems as if they will be traveling by ground. Billgar steps into the 'vehicle' and waits for Koku, soon they embark. While crossing the plains, a storm of dust kicks up, and though safe inside the carriage, they are joined by the driver, forced to wait inside until it passes.

"These sand storms are rather annoying. I think we should look into improving the vehicles to make them able to cross through these storms better. I suppose that means will will need to explore more land for more materials though."

"It would definitely be work loo.."

Billgars words are cut off as something slams into the side of the carriage. No real damage is done, but it gives the vehicle a good jolt.

"Seems the wind kicked up something big?"

"It is possible. Would it be easier just to go on foot rather than wait it out then." Looking around I look for anything such as plants or jutting out rocks.

The storm settles.

"We should just go on foot as you said, perhaps it is the easiest method. . . "

Walking for a while the plains drag on forever, and the sun beings to set.

"We should rest for the evening?"

Looking around I try to find any thing like dry wood. I also let my wass out of my hands so that he can run around a little bit. I pet him when he comes near me before letting him run around more. I try to sense if any presence is around us, but soon realize that there is a bit too much small life adding up to a lot to try to determine if anything large is out there. "It is times like this that adventuring seems to be at its best. The sites untouched by civilization are not easy to get to, but very rewarding."

"Looking for wood? No need."

Billgar looks down at a spot on the sand, the  wind kicks up the grains and they clash against one another, the friction forms a decent heat. and the static electicity makes a faint glow.

"this should do?"

"Very well indeed. Thank you." Pulling out a plain tea pot  I put some water in it and bring it to a boil. "While it is plain, hot water on a cool night does do wonders. Please have some yourself if you like." After a long pause I look back at Billgar instead of seiko who is still running around, now in proximal range to the fire. "What is it we are after again?"

"HAHA! the details We gave were a bit vague weren't they? Bean investigated some strange on-goings in a forest...the quest was given by some society or another. regardless, We were the one posting guards there...for various reasons. The situation seems to have worsened however, and it requires our attention."

"*sigh* You can't leave the work up to regular guards anymore. Good for nothings, I will have to train them until they can't move anymore when I get back!" With that I grab my wass when he gets close to me and put my head done try try to focus my attention on my surroundings, while also catching a little sleep.

Not bothering to attempt to go back to sleep I merely look at the scenery. I look back at my wass who is still very fidgety, even while asleep. I then try to sense if there is anything around that appears to be a danger.

The emperor wakes up.

"Koku, There isnt time to waste staring at the scenery!" Billgar yawns, still half asleep. "We must press forward. He begins to walk, dragging his feet." The bottoms of his silk garments drag throughout the sand. leaving a trails behind him that even the simplest creature could follow.
