A new building stand on its on in the main area of the Validus Province capital. Short and cylindrical, spikes protrude from it all around and dark gothic torches light the exterior. A semi-warm glow emanates from inside.

Wandering in there are several tough looking men sitting around end enjoying themselves. All in darkly dyed clothes, their faces share a common roughness. You notice some who have no sleeves on their tops or rather some who have on no tops at all have tattoos of blue serpent like dragons on them. One rather hefty man sitting at the bar has this mark covering his entire back.

I stand in the doorway, hands at my sides, and knock against the wall.

Thinking to myself, "Who are these people? They've just showed up when Schmall isn't around.... Oh boy, what am I getting into..."

Making my entrance from the bar, I keep my hood up, hiding my face and uniform from the public. "What are you brutes doing here? You do not plan on giving any trouble... right." As I say that I keep my distance and prepare to react.

You both enter nearly at the same time. The crowd goes quite and evil stares direct themselves at the two men who just entered. Scanning them both over, almost as if eyeing their prey, they ignore the cloaked stranger, and refocus their gazes onto the man in the guard uniform with the vest over it. Seeing the shining jutte poised in the guards hand, an intense evil atmosphere fills the room. Some younger punks stand up from their chairs and head over to the guard.

"This club doesn't welcome the likes of you, I'm Afraid!"
"Yeah...you guards are nothing but murdering scum!"

"Now I'm pretty sure there must be a misunderstanding..." I try to keep from looking over to Koku. "...why would you make such an assumption when you have barely even seen me around?"

a larger man sitting near where Bean stands rises out of his chair and grabs him by the collar of his uniform, slamming him against the wall. Holding him up easily, the large ruffian breathes wetness through his nose, like a large predator sniffing out its next meal.

with a little push he releases bean and the guard slides down to the floor before quickly getting back on his feet.

One of the younger thugs looks over at bean as the large ruffian returns to his chair

"you got lucky! just get out of here!"

Without saying anything, I make my leave. I fix the cloth covering my left eye. As doing so, I look at Koku, and head out to the tavern nearby.

I charge toward the hulking being and attempt to slash him quickly and efficiently down his back. "Do NOT touch my guard members, I rather hate when my property, subordinates get hurt. What is it you want you beast."

Koku, not realizing his own strength, slices the large man clean in half. The various ruffians look at him with fear in their eyes for a moment, and then with just hate. The ground begins to shake as if the thunder from a mighty storm were shaking the land. A cutain leading to a back room opens, and a man of epic proportions, standing nearly twice as tall as Koku enters the main room of the establishment. Decked out in a rugged armor formed of animal hides and fur, he looks sternly at the gaurd captain. wielding a mace in one hand, be rests the head of it on the ground an used it to lean on. His stomach is slightly round, but there is clearly a good portion of muscle under his fat.

His gaze looks down at Koku.

"This man was being bothersome, and I had to do what I needed to prove a point. Now that you are here I would like to talk to you. Why are you here, and do you plan on killing anything while you are here. Do not think you will be claiming this territory, you may attract more ruffians and I rather not let nature deteriorate.

As I see it this is unclaimed land...its just got some buildings on it. No lord governs this province, and we built this building with our own hands. You may be the captain of the guards, but you dont have anything on us."

Koku stares straight ahead and his gaze fixates on the mans belly button.

"Such a bafoon. What do you think you will accomplish here. You built but one building, while there are already a few here. What makes you in any better shape. Your power may be great, but those of us here have what t takes to bring you down if need be. So you can concede in which case I allow you to keep this tower and the small surrounding land, or I can just defeat you here if needed. Both are fine by me."
With that I gaze up higher now at him and prepare for an attack. Putting my scythe away I prepare for the worst. I prepare to evade the swing of his club, or if I can not just catch it a little before impact to be able to kick him in the back of his knee. Mr right hand is ready to get the scythe off its resting position on my back so that I can quickly slash him in the back, knowing that it will not kill him.

A smaller...less confident looking member of the group approaches. fumbling with some scrolls, his tattoo is small and located next to his left eye partiall hidden by the frames on his glasses. He unfurls a scoll and presents it.

"A deed!" says the lave 'bafoon'

"A deed you say, is this signed by the emperor. If so then I see no troubles in this being here. Just know that I will cut down any man who cuts down any creatures needlessly, and that includes killing them for training and or for fun." With that I go to look at the scroll still keeping my guard up. I see to make sure that it is indeed written by the emperor.

The scroll is signed by a one, Capt. Rosen land owner for a greater portion of the private property in Validus province.
