As you approach the second Krim in the Forest of Souls, the trees more thickly cover over head. The sun-light is near blotted out, except for a few rays that break through the canopy above. In the darkness creatures prowl, and You path is only illuminated by small balls of floating light that you assume to be wandering souls. The air is denser here, and if you are weak in spirit you may just find it hard to remain conscious, and only the gods know what you fate would be if that were to happen.

Making my way in I look around and see all the orbs I walk slowly to see the sites they illuminate. Finding a new tree I try to climb into a comfortable position about 10 meters up to see below and around me. The illuminating orbs put me into a trance as I start to drift off again into a slumber.

As you rest in the tree, some spirit particles accumulate in the form of small grubs and crawl on the tree limbs that surround you. They can feel your spirit energy, and are small enough that your mere presence is enough to satisfy their little bellies. Some perching lizards hunt smaller spirit forms that scurry across the ground.

The bushes down below then begin to wabble a big and some leave scatter. A blob of blue glowing energy rolls out form them. Landing with a plop, two stubby legs and some small thin arms poke out of it. a large gaping mouth forms in the center of the blobs front, and two dark beady, solid black eyes manifest themselves. Tucking in its arms, it does a small roll and lands on a perching lizard. The lizard burst into light and is devoured by the blob like spirit creature.

Watching on I do not say much, nor do I say anything in awe. Realizing the potential danger this place has, I make sure to take note of it but continue to relax.

Resting and watching you realize that while to the average mortal, the second krim is a place of great danger, to an immortal such as yourself it is but a trivial endeavor to rest at ease there, for while the smaller spirit forms will come close to adsorb the energy you naturally give off, the larger ones in this krim well know to stay away.
