Whether entering the first Krim of the Forest of souls, or simply looking through the neigh un-penetrable entrance, Large vegetation is abundant. Plants the continuously coil and grow are abound and glowing blue lights float through the air, combining and separating, forming shapes only as coherent as clouds. Small berries grow off of plants that lay lower to the ground and an occasional orb(the more common varieties) can be seen growing off of its stalk. The growls and squeeks of small unknown creatures can he heard as well as their rustling in the brush.

Slowly making my way in I find a good tree to climb into to enjoy the sights. Not wanting to disturb anything else I simply sit in the tree and watch as the moonlight seeps through some of the vegetation onto the ground and smaller vegetation. I feel a sense of peace in this spot, and I start to smirk. I know further through this forest lay creatures that could kill me instantly, and yet here I am able to be mostly calm. As the wind blows past me, it causes my uniform to flap slightly in the wind.

As Koku sits in a trees, the spirits and wandering souls of the first Krim know their place, and do well to avoid causing him harm, for while The Gaurd captain would surely perish in the deeper krims, the first contains nothing that could bring harm to an immortal.

Making my way into the forest with Gerald I allow him to grab a few berries to eat and allow him to do what he needs. Making sure he does not get taken away by any spirit or run away I look around him checking out the sites. When he returns he has a bunch of berries in his beak. Before I can pick him up he runs away out of the forest. Intrigued I make my way out of the forest following him to his destination.

*Archaic enters the forest, sword in hand and rope wrapped around his arm as he ties it to the end of the blade. Surely there will be some battles in this realm and Archaic knew to be well prepared. After that process, Archaic simply lets his blade dangle as he spots the ancient bark on the ground and bends down to pick it up.*

"What do we have here.. I wonder if I have any space in my bag for this, I'll hold onto it for now and see what happens."

*Archaic continues to make his way into the forest when he feels the ominous presence radiating off of Koku and decides to go the other way. There is no way that Koku wont be attacked by creatures who are frightened by the evil in him.*

The bark crumbles in Archaic's hands(this item was a remnant from the Halloween event).
Small clusters of spirit particles and a few perching lizards roam about. Despite being mortal, it seems archaic is strong enough to walk comfortably within the first krim.

*Archaic continues to explore the first Krim, making sure to carefully check every tree and hole for either treasure of possibly a relatively weak enemy. He is aware of the dangers that reside in this krim, and thus he resides primarily in the shadows and tries to work on his ability to sense the presence of enemies. This skill was too underdeveloped for his liking, and he knew that if he was going to be a master assassin, it would be one skill that he must excel at!*

"Come on, where are these things. I'm getting tired of lurking in the shadows with this strange feeling.. of fear? I'm actually afraid here? What kind of blasphemy is this!?"

*Angrily Archaic continues his careful exploration.*

Staying in the darker recesses also adds dangers in the Forest of Souls. While some may lurk there to hide themselves from the greater foes that lurk in the light, the enviornment is still harsh and has many dangers that go unscene.

Walking stealthily through the brish in the shadows, Archaic spots a massive blue beast meandering around a bit in the distance. It thankfully doesn't notice him. Stepping forward archaic feels something squish against his shoe. Looking down a pile of droppings hides his leg all the way up to his knee.

Was this an untold danger as well?

"What was that just now.. I thought beasts like that were only supposed to occupy the later krims of this forest. Either way, I need to find some water now as to wash this crap off my leg."

*Archaic keeps his eyes out for any more dung or potentially dangerous creatures as he also tries to listen for any running water. He begins to move in a western direction*

"It is a forest, and there is obviously creatures living in it, thus there is a high likelihood that there is also a source of water somewhere around here too. The question is... where?"

Suddenly the massive beast lets out a few dismaying grunts and looks around worriedly. Running it seems like he is trying to get away from something. Suddenly it stops in its track and tries to bite at its own neck as if trying to get something out of it. Then creating a small tremor it collapses to the ground.
A young girl with explosive teal hair approaches the fallen beast and retrieves what appears from the distance to be a dart. Archaic watching from the side accidentally steps on a small twig. Un-worried however the noise should go un-noticed from such a distance. However the girl quickly reacts and looks across the distance to archaic, then hurries off into the distance.

"So let me get this straight I'm in a strange forest and there are giant beasts that don't belong and there are other people here too. Well at least my gladius can finally feed again. Its been far too long since blood has stained the blade."

*Archaic carefully walks away from the scene for a bit as he did not like the look of whatever it was the girl got out of the beast's neck. It must have been quite powerful to cause that reaction and he did not want to experience that himself. Getting bored of his walking however, Archaic felt like trying something and stopped mid step.*

"You may as well come out, I can sense your presence."

Suddenly the feeling of a hollow twig can be felt against the back of Archaic's neck. No doubt it is the blowgun of the girl he spotted just a moment ago.

"Soon the spirit particles will begin to gather around the Jodoshi. They will consume what remains of its flesh and then once their power is increased, they will consume you as well. With this in mind speak swiftly. How is it that a mortal came to enter the forest of Souls?"

*Archaic looks at the girl with a smile on his face as he rips the dart out of his body.*

"I was granted a token of protection that allowed mortals safe-ish voyage into the forest. Are you what they consider a spirit? I'm only used to imagining them as little balls of light, but if that is not the case, perhaps I could offer you something as to leave me alone. Of course if that is not the case *archaic begins to swing his gladius by the rope* I'm sure we can think of something."

Archaic, pulling at air beside his throat becomes delusional as the sent form the nearby poison of the dart that has not yet been fired permeates through the air.

"foolish", the girl sighs, as she sweeps archaic's feet our from under him and disappears.

Walking inside the krim and stopping in a clearing I sit down on the forest floor. Perhaps using exploration as a way to escape the woes of an earlier mission might take my mind off of things.

"What a strange place. Beautiful, yet strange. I wonder how far this forest actually extends. Ha, reminds me of those plains and that flower lady."
