Sorry guys, I'm going to be pretty inactive from here on out. I got a ton of AP work to do, like tonight, I shall be pulling what you college people call an "all-nighter" with my work. They just added AP Physics, and it is HARD!!!

Yes, I should, but almost all qp classes hand out work for the summer, and we do have meetings in the school during the summer. This week starting tomorrow these meetings start. Not something I like to do, but after the seventh, I'm off the hook! Until the twenty-sixth. _________________ "I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man." |

Right now I'm neglecting my work and posting here as usual. See my sacrifices!?!? I have about two pages to type up and something else I can cram in tomorrow. Most likely this will be my last night here for a while. _________________ "I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man." |

oh man that is horrible. I mean the work alone is no fun, but to then have to stop posting on LE for it, that is just not right. You should be able to be here more. _________________

That is sad to hear, wait til you get to college. Two pages and some other things in one night mean that you dont have much to do. lol |

Well depending on your school. I usually have at least 50 pages to read per night, and that may be just for one class. It seems like a lot but it is not. Just manage your time well. _________________

| Wow two pages... I had to bang out 10 page papers in a night a few times and still pulled off As in them. And that was for my Honors English courses! Seriously, I don't pitty you with only two pages as that really is only like an hours worth of work. |

when you hit college you will have massive amounts of reading to do. All subject matter covered in class and in the book can be used on quizzes and exams. Many profs use the captions and sidebars to come up with thier questions. So be sure to look over all of those too. _________________ When I visit reality, I go as a tourist

Really? I did not see that. My professors have all been great and realize that undergraduate classes are not supposed to be so bad. They do not assign to much ready that they do not go over, and base a lot of it off of their lectures too. As for the workload, as previously stated it can be a lot. There were some times when I had a ton of things to do and almost no time to do them. _________________

| Hrmm I managed the workload well enough, and most of the tests I took were very straightforward and only on the subjects the teachers themselves discussed in high detail and went over in the review before the test. HOWEVER, once in a while a class is not like that and my last year's Greek Civ class was one of those. The professor was hardcore and tested you on lecture notes and on the readings that were NEVER covered in the lecture. Thus you never knew what you should be paying attention to, and it was made even harder as it turned out he usually chose the relatively minor people as opposed to the truly famous names. |

Well it depends on the type of school you go to as well. Go to a college like MIT or something of the sort and i guaranty that you will get material that is not covered in the lectures. Class time alone isnt enough to cover everything you need to know in your field, no matter what field you are going into. As such alot of profs usually focus on what they feel is important during class. I dont have alot of traditional style classes though, but i can tell you this when we have tests encompassing literally HUNDREDS of artworks that we are responsible for knowing the artist, date, period, location culture surrounding, techniques and a plethora of other things about most likely 30-50 if we are lucky were covered in class. |

| Ah Billgar I know exactly what you mean with your art classes. It is the same thing at UMass with the Art History courses they offer. I remember having to help my friend study before her every test as there was just so much to cover she had to make flash cards and study them for hours before she was comfortable. |

That is insane, but yeah just shows how varied schools are. I would say prepare for the worst but realize that unless you go to some insane school like Billgar's you won't have to worry about it too much. _________________
