This is the best video game news that i have heard since i found out spore was coming to mac. I cant wait to hear more updates about this and i hope they dont kill it if it is for the wii....and im fearful of a ds title.

There is a good chance that it will be for the Wii, since Miyamoto also mentioned somewhere that he is mostly working on Wii titles for the moment and I don't think that even they would make a DS version before a Wii one.

Hrmm I can actually see this working out pretty well, especially if they use the true 3D attachment when it comes out. Just think about it, moving your arms to pick up and throw specific pikmin where you want them to go and then having to bend down and pick up bottle caps and stuff. However, if they do something like this, I hope they have at least one other control setting for the wavebird as the gamecube controllers did a fantastic job.

Indeed, it may be a lot of fun, but too bad I am not a complete fan of pikmin. It is a good game but I did not get into it fully for some reason, probably because I stunk at it. Still, I wonder if they will have a lot more pikmin to chose from.

I think maybe introducing one more species, possibly two could be interesting. they should have an urban level...like in an ally way or something....and make trash pikmin. half jk on that.
