a gatheringIn a pub located in a city known for its despair and problems, a man wearing a black cloak is seen sitting at a pub. He has made a small name for himself here for his way of killing those who annoy him, mumbling something about seeing old friends again. It is I, the one who now goes by Jungle, and I know that the rumor has spread. I feel that as I sit here at the bar, there is a familiar power coming closer. A smirk can seen be seen on my face. As the familiar power gets to the pub, I say, "Hey. It's been a while."

"Haha! Course it has" Slapping Jungle on the back he nearly spills his drink, and a bit trickles out of his mouth.
"I was jsut passing through, but i never expected to see you here."

It is slightly unexpected, but ion such an area where fights happen all the time, I am not too surprised. While peace is good, there are sometimes when a good fight comes in handy. In this place where people try to start fights often, I have had my fill of them, all while going through my routine excersize methods as to not get weaker. Most of these people are push-overs. Why did you come here, are you looking for a good fight, or is there something else I did not hear about?

Ah, beyond this town in a village to the west is a cave burdened by beast that possess the power of the gods. Fueled by the desire to make my ow strength even greater, I entered the cave, for rumor has it that the draw their strength from a strange and mysterious weapon thats power is greater than that of my own axe. However, upon entering, i found that even i was no match for these horrid beasts. A mere two of them, were able to un-arm me, and destroy my weapon, consuming it into their own flesh. This was quite some many months ago however. I have not been back to the cave since, but rather have been working on my own physique.
*Flexing, the (what would normally be considered over-sized) shirt tears to shreds.*
hahaha, i dont much think i need that axe anymore anyways.

"hm, muscles are not everything, but they do help a lot. My training has involved excersizes that affect my speed. There is little chance that I could take on the enemies found in the cave, but I may be able to outrun a few of them. However, I do not think I will try any time soon, there is no doubt one who will be faster than me." as I say that I take a drink made out of roots and milk. "You know my scythe is still blood thirsty, and these people have not been enough for it. Their blood is a little too thin, and I feel I may need to take on a couple demons or monsters soon. *sigh* I may need to train more near the caves in order to feed my scythe and to check out some of the weaker monsters. Who knows, maybe we will soon be able to take on a couple of these beings." As I say that I run over and slay a guy who was fifteen feet back, holding a gun and getting ready to shoot at me. "Yup, as I thought... thin blood."
|
Billgar
|
Ah, i see what you mean, the folk around here are so weak of will they dont even provide ONE soul for your scythe to gather. Well...we may not be able to overcome the beasts in the cave, as of yet, but there is a training ground to the south which should be awesome enough.
*the two travelers head off to the south, where they soon find themself in a large green field. Billgar sits, and tells his comrade to wait a while. many hours pass, then there is the sunset. once the bulk of daylight has vanished, a great rumbling occurs shaking the ground beneath them. a near by tree is uprooted, as a massive insect unearths itself.*

"Hm, A giant insect, should be fun." After carefully analyzing th thick chitin shell, I realize it will have very few weak points, but chances are it would the the joints and eyes. With new found speed I charge at the creature, jump over it, and then run diagonally down it heading to the other side, while doing so I slash at the beings legs with a very quick cut. "Even if this does not cut it, the friction will help make the leg hot, and possibly burn." With the leg still in tact, I can only hope that it weakened the structure immensely. The insect, now angry attempts to swipe at me with its mandibles. I wait till the last second then move out of the way, to see Billgar preparing to do something. Taking a quick moment to rethink my moves, I carefully watch Billgar's next actions.

Running parallel with the ground along the side of the now fallen tree, that the insect had uprooted, i hastily make my way towards jungle, and with a quick palm thrust i sent him flying.
"I never said we would be fighting that creature. its known as a Tintain, and i tamed this one a while ago while i was training in this area. My friend, this creature would also serve as nothing in regards towards preparing us for the upcoming battles, as the demons of that cave would surely consume it whole"
*jungle looks up at the multi-storied insect*
"nonono, what we shall be fighting is that!"
*Raising his hand to the skies, Billgar points, as a loud and overbearing flapping is heard. A massive beast with a dark-blue, almost black scaled covering, and a grey mane approaches.*
"I feel that something, like that is the only thing that may be able to prepare us for the upcoming battles."

*while rubbing my back and stretching I looked up with a little shock, and yet at the same time excitement* "Right that thing, well that should be even more fun. Sorry big Tintain, I didn't know any better. As for the bird, I think my scythe will like it much more, it has more blood to take." I start to stretch again and crack my knuckles. *smiling with a psychotic grin* "This is going to be fun!" With that I dash from tree to tree to reach a good position to attack. Looking down at Billgar, I show him that I am ready for him to initiate the plan of attack (making sure it is not involving throwing me at it by preparing to dash out of his clutches if he were to attempt to).

Meanwhile, back at the fight.
Billgar lashes out with a high jump kick, simultaneously grabbing jungle by the collar of his garment. Changing the direction of my attack, i pull my legs back, and lean my torso forward, giving jungle an extra boost of force as he comes down on the dragon.

As I am about to land on the dragon, I start to slice vertically downwards. As soon as my feet touch the back of the dragon I land my hit, only for it to bounce back slightly. "Dang, it appears as if this thing has a weak spot too..." I mumble to myself. Looking around I notice that its neck seems to have different scales than the rest of it. As I approach, I notice that the scales are weaker and are able to be destroyed more. Before the dragon could send my flying off, I swing again, dragon the tip of my scythe through his skin on his neck. Hurting the dragon it sends him downwards in a spiral like manner, probably trying to get me off of him, however, now that my scythe is in his skin, it will be a little difficult. Closer and closer it gets to the ground when it starts to recover. "This is going to be one of the better opportunities we would have to strike, make it count. I say aiming the words at Billgar."

I jump up high, and kick off of the head of my tintain, rising into the air, i pull my knees in towards my chest, then with a final burst of energy, i reach my fist into the throat of the dragon through its new wound. Trying to pull my hand out, a scale tears into my flesh binding me to the dragon., i raise, my left leg up to its throat, and push off with it, freeing myself. The beast finally lands with a thunderous clatter.
"Well, at least that didnt take to long"
i sigh as i hold my wounded right hand
, the neck of the dragon starts to convulse in the background, and a hord of awkward grubtype forms begin to spew from the orifice newly formed in its neck.
charging in , the tintain begins to eat some of them.

Well, that is... pleasant. I wonder why they were in him, but further more, I wonder if they made him weaker. If so, then there is no way that was good practice. In fact, I would still think it was kind of too easy." As I finish saying that I go over and kill a few of the grub like creatures, making sure to leave enough for the tintain to eat. I now begin to watch the tintain for any unusual behavior or aggression towards Billgar and I.

*billgar's tintain burps*
|
Koku
|
"unless tintain's can't burp there is nothing unusual about that. So then, what is next. It appears that that was just a warm up for the true event to come." I say, rotating my right arm in a circle while holding my right shoulder with my left hand. "I have yet to show my true ability yet..."
|
Billgar
|
"A warm up, i suppose.....
Im just amazed at how acknowledgeable you are about the fauna in this kingdom(pun not intended). You see the reason why i got a tintain was so that i could train myself. right now it is in its adolescent form. When consuming the parasites that live off of the bacteria in a dragons throat, it is able to mature and advance into adulthood.....like that."
Billgar looks over his shoulder as a shadow slowly drops over the heads of the travelers. A hulking mass of chaotic insectoidian doom. approaches, with a sweep of its claw it sends Billgar flying

well then, this seems like fun. Running towards it I try to attack its mandibles to cut them off, but before doing so it swipes me away sending me flying. "I should of learned from Billgar's hit. I need more speed to beat this thing." With that I reach under my cloak and pull a thick spider-silk string and within a second, a mass of dirt surrounds me as a big clunk is heard. A second later, while the dirt is still surrounding everything, another clunk is heard. "Remember all those people I killed, I melted their weapons and armor down to training armor and leggings. They suck for protection,as I forgot to dull the sharp weapons down, but they sure are heavy." After saying that I focus on to the enemy by listening for its footsteps (making sure it was not the tintain), and burst towards it cutting off a mandible right before it ould attack me. "Ok" I say while huffing from loss of breath, "It was weakened, and I am now faster, I think we can now take it, but it will still be a challenge.
|
Billgar
|
*the matured tintain lets out a horrific sound, as green stuff gushes forth from its wound. quickly it stops however, as another mandile grows in place of where the one was that it lost*
If your wondering how to beat this thing, i dont know.....

"I might have a clue" It is much like the hydra who grew more heads when one was cut of. get fire to burn the injuries shut. Furthermore, I need to know if it is possible for them to digest metal. I believe they may be able to as it does want to eat us, and as such it must be prepared to eat armor. While getting rid of the mandibles might..." As I talk the adult tintain goes to attack me, but I quickly move out of the way and cut off the mandible from the same location, hoping to delay it. "getting rid of the mandibles might delay it , but will not kill it anyways. The outer shell seems very hard, but the bottom (stomach) may not be. Unfortunately, may scythe is not good at hitting things like that, but maybe you can puncture it. Hit it closer to the front than the back, as you must try to disrupt the nerve core as much as possible. Once we get it not able to move, breaking through the shell may become possible." As I say that I keep the tintain occupied allowing Billgar to do what he must.
