that I do like, thank you.
Just so others know, I did PM billgar about something like this. I felt the rogue was not able to advance like the others.
schmall looks forward to this

Dont get too high and mighty, Koku told me to make one of these before i released it, and archaic as soon as it was released. You were the third to bring up a desire for this.

Indeed, it is a very powerful class none the less. It almost made me want to change to a thief, but I realized that the 10% attack is better for me then the 5% for weapons. The priority 0 is great.

Yes I am actually extremely excited for this class as what it lacks in raw power, it more than makes up for in speed. In 1,000 posts it will be extremely fun to role play using this class due to its speed and fight with it purely for the priority 0.

I got confused for a minute, seeing the priority 0, and for the first second I though it meant you were last to attack, but I caught on. I too, almost switched to thief, but I thought about it, and kept to my original plan, either Divine Swordsman or get to Gladiator.

Nice, despite the fact that I dont have a magical weapon *sobs considers options*. I plan on becoming a Tri-Wizard. If I had to chose another path It would be beast master and I just woulnt move up to special rank. However I think I will Shoot for tri-wizard in however many posts it is away.

Schmall is all about the speed. I can make up for the lack of power with orbs. I like how you need to fight in the arena 5 times and win before you can get it. Makes you really face death. I like it

I am perfectly happy with being a citizen, for now. As I said earlier, when I get my post count up, I'll worry about other things. So far, though, the classes do not meet my liking. I'm a guy who spends hours at a time writing bios about characters within my stories and such. Each different, and amazing, at least to me. So, until something like a Gambler class, or a Sandwalker come into creation, I have no problem just sulking in the shadows.
Although, I do give kudos for the amazing site. It has really grown, and really developed into something beyond sweet. Just a few months ago, no offense, LE was bare, pale. Now, summons, new magic, classes, ect. Truly beyond beliefe.....Just not for my liking yet.

At least you do give Billgar credit. Help us keep picking ideas and concepts at him. We are his brain storming crew. We all are. Billgar cant do everything and come up with everything. If we keep throwing ideas out there and discuss them, he will get a feel with what we want and expect out of this site. My friend with the moving avatar should be making an appearance sometime today. dont know when.

Considering you obvious opposition to things, I have no trouble what so ever with you remaining a citizen class. However you realize that your HP is then only 35 regardless of you post count. As far as Gambler and Sand walker, Im not going to deceive you with false hopes of future glory, but you are not going to see any new advanced classes for a long time. With the costs of backtracking to change classes, I simple do not find it fair to add new ones regularly as people are already planning out their paths. I like the sound of Gambler, so MAYBE in the future it could appear as a special class that is a mod of thief, but what abilities would it get? Im not going to create an entirely new special or ability for the sake of a single individuals request. I apologize of that sounds a bit rude, but its realistic. If something like a gambler were to appear it would probably be in the form of something like a combo between a thief and warrior or mage as that is just how the current system is set up.
As far as the sand walker. I dont know what it is, and right off the bat i have no interest in adding it. The name implies a desert tromping individual. If you have such a keen desire to be a warrior of the desert or a sneaky sand-type assassin, then choose from the classes that we have now. Choosing a class DOES NOT mean that that is your character bio. The description simply tell what the stereotype for the class is. If you feel that by choosing the path of a warrior you cannot leave the capital, and clearly can have no unique background other than the fact that you know how to fight you are sadly mistaken.
Create your own back story and evolve your characters life how you see fit. The classes we offer are not histories of an individual but rather skills sets that determine what disciplines you are focusing on. I hope that this clears up the obvious misunderstanding. Also I am sorry to hear that you dislike the website.

Many of us have already have a background story. I had one before I even signed up for this website. Just brought one in from my other gaming experiences and modified it. Schmall has cold, ice blue eyes for a reason. So far his usual smile has never reached his eyes.

My character has a small bio, but I have yet to share it with a majority. Infact only about 3 people know the most basic thing about him. I do not know when I will share the info, if at all. As for the classes, I think we just need to do with what we have, which is a good amount. Maybe it would be cool to have one class where you do not gain advantages and have your normal hp (based off post count). That way if you do not want to chose a class you do not need to.

See now that is a nice way to approach things!
I have added
No-Class
A selection of rebellious individuals don't wish to conform to the stereotypes of a class. These truly unique members of society have no special talents nor abilities other than those possessed by what they own.
Benefits: No Bonuses
as an option.

I think the best bios come out in time. Just stay consistent. If its something big that can effect RPs, like being born in the North or in a desert, and was raised there, your character has an advantage over others. these should be known in advanced. No fun telling the GM/judge "oh, I was born and raised in the artic. so my guy knows all about hunting polar bears, surviving the blizzards, and as for this cold that is freezing everyone to death, I can walk around with a light jacket and be fine." Now we have an inbalance that should be pounced on. Bring these things up in advance. At least let koku and billgar know in a PM so that they can back you up.

For Schmall, I did say in the RP I was born in the North, but I'm trying to put through that I only remember the snow, ice, and cold, and nothing else. As for the classes, if there was enough support behind adding a new class (I'm not suggesting anything) in the future, would you consider adding it, if it was within reason?
|
Billgar
|
If it was a SPECIAL class and there was enough support. After all the reason why i added Ansatsusha was because three people asked for it. But i would have to deem it as a globally beneficial class.
As far as the north thing. If Born in Nocte as a disclaimer, there is no snowy regions except mountain tops, but its legit that you could say you are from further up than the kingdom. Whatever you want, just throwing out ideas. Or you could be from the mountains in the north which as i said have snow.
|
Beanbaker
|
I didn't know if the RP going to the north was still in Nocte or not, so I'll go with myself being born very far north, and I'll stick to that.
I tried looking up Ansatsusha, and I got nothing as of yet. What are they exactly? Are they some sort of assassins, spies, or the equivilent to like a first-line of defense because of their speed, or all of the above?
|
Billgar
|
Its the japanese word for assassin. Yes as simple as that. And by assassin it technicaly means how it would be in the modern sense, so not a ninja. But that aside here it is jsut a highly skilled stealthy assassin of doom.
|
Schmall
|
I like the simple answer. Schmall wants it and will be nature's vengance. He will be stalking the poachers who hunt for fun and slaying them outright for thier unnatural behavior and actions.
|
Archaic

Hrmm so I am moving up to be a higher level assassin eh... hehehe Who says I only have to hunt the poachers and evil people. I can also hunt the leaders of hippies and all those who cut me in line and made it so I have to eat the nasty ortch pie as opposed to a fresh perchlizard.
|
Billgar
|
Or archaic you could just become a stealthy malicous killing machine of doom with disregard for the value of life!
|
Archaic
|
That sounds like an awesome plan billgar! I now have a goal on LE and I hope that I will be able to fulfill it. I was actually even contemplating becoming a magician so I could work my way to deathgod just for the name, but assassin's are just as cool.
|
Billgar
|
Indeed, i think i am going to aim for becoming a Tri-Wizard and do something epic to get a new weapon that deals magic damage. You will be seeing a quest eventually that will have new weapons available during it.
you will know it when you see it.

I think gladiator will be what I am going for at first, but I shall become a true immortal! I cannot wait to reach that rank, it would be so great.

I already have mind set and goals for Schmall. He does value life, but has no regards for things of unnatural beings, actions, and behaviors. Schmall seeks to end these. The bony critter to summon is a perfect example really. no offense Billgar, but Schmall sees it as unnatural.
|
Koku
|
I think it is great and is more natural then other ones. I also think that my guy seems to be almost the opposite at times. I think the Ansatsusha definately seems awesome for people who want to kill for their goal. Still, I prefer to increase my power even more, hence why I will try to become a gladiator.
|
Billgar
|
thats fine, the fact that your character doesnt like it means that i have diversity. And it IS unnatural! However Obagon wants one. I dont as i am playing a neutral role as well.

If it's someone's pet, then I will restrain from attacking, but it will never be welcomed in the tavern.
