Yeah in the video the contrast is actually a bit higher than in real life though. He is actually more grayed out, as in his striped are slightly dark grey, his body neutral grey, and his stomach off white instead of white.

Yeah it seriously too some convincing and time, but Doraemon (ドラエもん）is awesome, so it was totally worth it.

Yeah I can imagine it taking quite some time to convince someone to let you get a kitty, but I'm sure the name helped. Also, it is so adorable I want to pet it even if it makes my eyes close and my throat swollen!
