Bwah!!!!!! Annoyence! So, here's the deal. For some reason, my left ear is blocked. I can barely hear out of it, and it is extremely EARritating........sorry about that. Anyway, it's due to water/earwax I believe, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get it unblocked....

NO q-tips!! It will only push it in further. Bad Idea!! Makes it worse. I will think on this a bit and see if I can come up with a good idea other than shaking your head around.

Oh, I knew the q-tip thing. Koku offered me one, I was like, eh no. My old health teacher suggested warm water, but so far, no success.

I would suggest a radical way, one that I wouldn't suggest for the novices, but something extremely thin. I do it because I know what I'm doing, I sit in a quiet bathroom, and I sit, keeping my hand extremely steady. I do this four times a year, and no mishaps, but it takes me a whole half an hour.

Either that or just take a shower getting the stream in the ear. I guess what you are really suppose to do it get something that shoots a thing beam of water (not a water gun, something more like a small syringe- needle thing) and shoot the water into your ear while aiming your ear downwards. It is suppose to work the best I guess.

Actually, I looked in my medicine cabinet, and the next time you're over TK, you can use the earwax removal kit. FDA approved.

a kit would work. just follow its directions and warnings of course.
My mother used to use hydroperoxide (sp) and use thin q-tips to clean out my ears and by brothers' ears each. She used a flashlight in order to realllly see what she was doing too. apparently worked.

Yeah but I do believe that his problem has been fixed thanks to swimming in a pool. The problem was that he then broke the stairs to said pool and scraped his knee. He just can't win today.

Yeah, and on the wound I got from the pool incident, we used hydrogen-peroxide! Freaky coincidence....like $30,000 and $50,000, huh Arc? ....Inside joke. But yeah, it has been fixed. I can hear out of both ears now.

I would reccoment ascending to a higher level of existAnce. then msot likely you wont get that anymore. I mean when was the last time an immortal had earwax.

I had ear wax just two days ago, but not enough to block the sound fully. Still, I have yet to get too hurt that I could not get right up.

I get nasty looking ear wax, and I get afraid of another ear infection. It almost runs in my family. I'm allergic to the medicine, amoxicillin, the pink medicine.

Thousand Knights

you're allergic to it too? go figure.

Yes, I got hives when I was twelve. It was not pleasant, but I'm happy none of the hives got on my face. That happened to someone I knew, and they couldn't see for their eyes were swollen shut.

My brother's ears get nasty sometimes and to fix them my mom uses peroxide... and it works good like it breaks the ear wax down or something, I don't know but it works

I think thousandknights had enough peroxide for today. It also seems like it would sting a little, it may just be me though. I think letting it run its course may be the best thing to do still.

...It was bubbling madness. Although, on a lighter note, the bubbling is cool until it starts to sting. And yeah Beans, amoxacillian gives me and my bro a creepy rash. I don't remember it being irritating, but I do remember it happening.

wow. that must suck. better hope the doc knows that when you go into that shock thingy due to an allergic reaction or you would be dead. i can just see the multi million dollar mal practice lawsuit already. jeessh. do you have to wear a braclet or a necklace about that. I know certain people do when deathly allergic to certain meds.

Ummm......well i suppose it would make sense for me too, but other than being lactose intolerant I dotn have any allergies. I dont even get poison ivy anymore..... So there is no reason whatsoever for me to be given bendryl unless someone decides they want to kill me with it!
GOOD LUCK!
