Once reaching the great gate of Netorpitous you find that the guards there are under strict orders to keep the gate closed at all costs so as to prevent invasion. Understanding this reasonable request you are directed to a ladder to the side that scales to the top of the wall surrounding the city. Once atop the wall with great skill you ump down the 50 somewhat odd feet and land with a thud and swirl of power(and on your feet). In front of you there is an endless army of thousands amassed.

closet to you is a a squad of halberd users. With the numbers of this squad alone being to great to count, the first rank approaches. As this row of 6 nears they circle around you both. Surrounded by the aluminum clad troops you have the advantage of speed over their armored bodies.

Koku

I decide to see what they are made out of and attack the closest one to me by Grabbing him, and suplexing him before getting up and heel kicking him while he is still on the ground. I let my wass run wild and attack a different guy. HE goes over, jumps up, and hits the guy in the face. I grab hold of Saiko afterward to protect him.

Schmall

Without a word, Schmall charges at one of the fresh soldiers. He swings the blade horizontal to the ground with less speed and strength than normal. Just before the blade connects with the parry of the halberd, Lumpy flies down in the face of the guy and Schmall takes the second of blindness to swing the blunt end up into the bottom of the guy's chin.

Lumpy flies back up into the air as Schmall moves into postion behind Koku so that neithe can be swarmed from behind.

Rushing in the halberd user is taken completely by surprise at the offensive maneuvering of Koku in such a situation. Grabbing him by the collar of his aluminum plate, The scythe user places the palm of his other hand on the soldiers breast plant and tossing him overhead slams him onto the ground. The warrior lands and with his heel Koku snaps his neck bringing a swift death to his foe.
Schmall having unleashes his diversionary tactics connect to the chin of his opponent the end of the bisento going up it is fair contact. Staggering back from the blow the "tin-man" rushes in with a simple straight thrust he jabs his halberd into the side of schmall. Schmalls back cloak moves to the side under the force of the blow revealing his own suit of armor beneath it.

Readying themselves, the other four troops that directly surround you attack. Coming in all at once they focus on Koku as he is clearly more of a threat and needs to be eliminated. Using a coordinated attack they all thrust at once. scratching up the arm Koku blocks with.

Koku

Taking the halberd and the GC (to be later split) I then move on to the next uninjured person. After letting my wass fun wild and attack him by hitting behind his knee I charge up the the guy. I quickly punch him in the stomach making him bend down. Upper cutting with my other fist I aim more for his stomach to send him up a little bit where I will finish with a quick kick into his stomach.

Schmall

"Having fun yet koku," says Schmall casually. Without waiting for a response, Schmall kicks 'Halberd User B' in the shin. The blade of the bisento swiftly sweeps upward, seeking the major arteries inside the groin.

Lumpy, feeling particulary bold, swoops down and pecks at the 'guy B's eye and then flies back up out of reach.

Billgar

Koku has no time to finish with a stomach kick. Upon delivering his uppercut the corpse of his opponent flings up into the air. Soaring about 15 feet or so clear across the ranks of soldiers the body eventually lands.

Schmall still facing off against the same foe sweeps his blade towards the heavens. Nipping at the throat a bit he makes a fair cut. However it is far from fatal. retaliating his opponent swipes his halberd down at schmalls ankles.schmall moving agily is able to deflect the blunt of the blow with the metal guards on his shins.

The three attackers yet to strike shrink back in fear from the Immortal that is before them. Tearing through lives like paper without a weapon even in hand he is an unstoppable demon in their eyes. Facing their fear the three of them run in at once screaming.

Koku

My wass quickly runs ahead trying to catch one of the fleeing and attempts to tackle him. Running behind him I push people out of my way (not attacking them) to get to him. I scoop him up after and pick up the guy. Holding him by the back I hold him outstretched before landing a powerful kick in his back, which would lead to a strong jerking motion with his limbs and head, possibly snapping his neck, as well as sending him flying. "Now now, do not run way again little one. I do not need you to be hurt," I say petting my very happy wass.
Petting him while laughing I see the people starting to swarm me as I just look on with a smile on my face. "Bring it you weaklings. You want to harm others, I guess I will need to teach you a lesson! Hey Schmall, just so you know, defeating weak humans is lots of fun to me!"

Schmall

"One day I will eventually wipe that grin of your face matey," growls Schmall, "In the mean time I will teach these lame excuse of soldiers a lesson."

Schmall, holding the bisento horizontal in front of him with a classical quarter staff grip, swings both ends one after the other at guy 'B's chest over and over again. He keeps it a touch slow so that is easy to block, but just fast enough to prevent a repost. Once the sucker falls into the pattern solidly, Schmall double swings the bladed end when he moves to block the blunt end, aiming to take a lung out.

Schmall follows up with a high kick to the stomach to get the man off his blade.

Lumpy once again swoops down and pecks at the guy's eye again and flies back up into the air for safety.

After Koku completely dislocates near every joint of his victim he looks over to schmall. After the exchange of a few words, schmall swinging about his bisento pierces the lung of his foe through the armor. Falling to the ground, the halberd user is not more. With only two men remaining out of the first rank, the next line of troops is getting ready to move in. Charging towards Koku the first of the two to strike screams as he approaches

"YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND OUR CAUSE!!!!"

Right as he is about to land his blow a blade comes through the gut of the attacker. Taken by surprise and unable to dodge, Koku is stabbed in his own gut.

Halberd user F is the only remaining foe out of this rank. After defeating him you may choose to either continue on fighting the next rank of 6 or retreat. If you die all spoils will be lost.

Koku

Picking up the spoils of Halberd user D I then walk towards Halberd user F. "To kill your own ally is pure stupidity. I shall make you pay dearly with that mistake!"
Sending my wass out I let him attack Halberd user F.Approaching myself I put out my hand and throw off any helmet the man might be wearing. Grabbing around his temples I start to press in with amazing force. I slowly apply more and more creating immense pain. "This is what you get for being so disloyal to a comrade. Scum like you deserve to suffer!" I soon stop playing around and apply the full amount of pressure available.

After the head of the soldier explodes the next rank prepares to attack. You have a few moments to escape via the path that the guard described to you.

Schmall

Giving a nod to Koku, Schmall charges to meet the oncoming 6 soldiers. He screams his battle cry of "BBLOOOOOODD AANNDDDD VVINNNAAGGGEERRRR!!!" and swings the bisento blade wildly back and forth, simply causing the charging soldiers to slow down and halt due to the wild antics of the small man. Once they go on a more defensive postioning, Lumpy swoops down into the face of one of the soldiers. Schmall fixes his grip and footing, steps in and stabs the guy right into the gut.

Lumpy flies up into the air again as Schmall twists the blade free of the soldier's gut and leaps back with koku.

Koku

Chargin forward once again my wass seems to take the lead and attacks one of the none hurt halberd users. Grabbing him before attacking I simply kick one of the halberd users in the chest with the sole of me foot. Sending him flying I watch to see where he lands so I can send my wass to grab his stuff.

Billgar

Schmall doing as desired makes contact with the gut of his foe. Stabbing through the armor he does a devastating amount of damage. Retaliating his foe swing low and cuts accross schmalls left knee. Three of the others come in from behind attacking schmall all at once.
Knocking back his foe with his heel the soldier or victim rather, chosen by koku is caught by one of his comrades. As the skull of The man jsut attacks flings back it breaks the face of the man that catched him. Though kicked the man is unharmed. His comrade however falls dead.

Koku

As my wass comes back with the halberd he brings me towards the GC. I collect it then look for a new person. Using one of his large appendages, Saiko points towards the halberd user who went unharmed from the kick. Saiko jumps up twice to show that he want to attack. Picking him up I throw him lightly as the opponent. Spinning around in a cyclone type way Saiko manages to smack the guy twice in the head. As I go over to him I punch him once in the stomach before raising my leg and dropping my heel into him.

Schmall

"Now, Now, Now you pathetic toy soldiers," taunts Schmall, "taking a small guy 4 on 1 is a little unfair. Lets even these out a bit."

With a surge of strength, the bisento whistles through the air as it cleaves into the wounded man's throat. The twin strength orbs twinkle in the sun as the spray of red decorates the other combatants.

Billgar

Coming around with an axe kick Koku extinguishes the life of yet another soldier. Turing towards the greater threat three of the remaining troops from the ranks attack Koku at once. Schmall still facing off against his opponent slashes it hsi throat. However the defending halberd user steps back and extends his arm getting no more than a scratch.

Schmall

"Stubburn mule. I said DIIIEE!!!!" roars Schmall.

"FWWUUUTT1!!" Lumpy swoops down, digs his talons into the guy's nose and begins to pecking away at his eyes. As the guy tries to swat the crazed bird away, Schmall grins. He simply walks into proper range ans swings the blunt end of the bisento towards one of the guy's knee. This is swiftly followed up with the other end coming around and slicing into the other knee and a kick to the groin.

Lumpy flies back up into the air for saftey sake.

Koku

I pet my wass slowly in order to signal to him to stay put. I charge towards another halberd user and as I run to him yell out, "I am sorry but you must be defeated. May your next life be more successful. With that I do a spinning heel kick to the guys face, hoping his demise was quick and painless.

Billgar

Schmall following through perfectly lands a massive about of damage and vanquishes the foe. Lumpy's defensive magic however dissipates as it attacked a foe. With its protective barrier gone it flies back to schmall for safety. Koku spinning about takes down another foe, to him humans are nothing more than mere play-things.
The three remaining soldiers back up a bit in what looks like fear. However a roar of laughter soon breaks out amongst them. Koku looking confused stares at them thinking they have resigned to death. However one of the without looking up points to the sky. A shower of black arrows descends.

Koku raises his arm in defense as his wass shakes with fear. Kokus Katana shakes and begins to glow a faint purple. As four arrows descend towards the wass the light given off from the blade seemingly draws them in. Turning in the air they fly into Kokus chest. Distracted by the pain, an arrow gets through Kokus Guards and pieces straight down into his shoulder.

Schmall nearby holds up his bisento and attempts to block as many as he can, however the onslaught is too much. Knowing that the end is near he continues to do the best he can to stop them. Seeing his master in distress, Lumpy flies up to block the arrows. However with the protective magic gone the future seems rather inauspicious. Piercing the left side of his breast, lump is hit. In immense pain and barely holding onto life it continues to fly. In an attempt to return the love given to it by its master it takes another two arrows and falls. Schmall Stricken with sorrow falls to his knees and takes hold of his once beloved companion. Bending close to it the arrows do not ease, and four strike him in the back.

Koku

"You fools dare to strike me, and attempt to hurt my wass. I shall take you down. You fools will not be laughing for much longer."
Running towards another uninjured person I grab hold of his mouth with both hands and rip his skull off, separating it from his jaw. Emptying the contntents I allow my wass to wear the skull as a helmet.

Schmall

After shedding a few tears over Lumpy's corpse, Schmall looks up at the remaining halberd wielders. "You killed my friend. You shall die for this!"

Schmall charges forward at unwounded soldier. He swings one end after another, not caring where they land so long as the man screams with pain. Elbows, neck, head, knees, feet, chest, gut, hands, face, collar bone, any where that Schmall can land a blow.

Billgar

Nearly going berserk the power of all nine orbs in schmalls blade resonate. Whipping it around with fury he becomes much more of a threat to the soldiers. Slicing with the bladed end schmall catches the chest of a foe and cuts in deep. bleeding profusely, the enemy retailiates and thrusts his weapon forward. With blurred vision from the pain he is unable to render a sterm blow and ost of the force is lost against schmalls armor.

Koku gruesomely tearing the top half of a soliers skull off gives into his blood lust. With a sadistic grim that can nearly be seen even through the darkness of his garb, koku lets the brains and blood pour out from the skull then places it on his pet. Though unable to do damage through the armor up until now, Saiko had indeed been trying. With a new strength found from his trials and the wanting to return favors to it master its aura ignites with a deep and loyal fury. With a gleam its eye glosses over and turns from green to orange. Whipping fourth its right ear it strikes at the knee of an approaching soldier. Feeling the strike and not seeing the foe the approaching halberd user falls to his knees from the leg injury.

Koku

So proud of my wass I pick him up and start to hug him mid combat. "That is right Saiko, you show him who is boss! Letting him down, I allow him to once again hurt the soldier who he tripped before finishing off the soldier by simply crushing his head with a well placed axe kick to the back of his head. Picking up my wass again I continue to pet him and go back to the quiet routine, which seems to not bother the wass.

Schmall

Seeing as himself or the other is dead, the cold, death seeking rage continues. Schmall bashes the blunt end of the halberd to knock it aside so that bladed end can slice the man's throar open so that the blood may spray and shower all present.

"You shall pay for what you have done!" screams Schmall

Billgar

Koku after embracing his wass makes which and merciless work of the enemy at hand. The soldier with the crushed skull now crashes to the ground and a plump coin purse falls from his armor.

Schmall attacking at the last soldier in that rank of six finished him off nicely slitting the throat wide open.

Koku

I grab the generic currency then pick up my wass. "I think it is foolish to continue. Let's take the loot and get out of here while we are not fully surrounded. I have bigger fish to fry soon enough." I start to go back to the capital to recover and rest.

Schmall

Schmall breathes in a rather rugged pantings. He stares down at the man who's throat is still gurgling as the dieing man tries to beathe. Taking one last look at the flowing blood now saturating the soil, Schmall turns his back and walks away. Exhausted, he scoops up Lumpy's corpse and signals for a rope to be hoisted back up the wall.

Being pulled up the stone wall both warriors retreat back within the walls of the capital to safety.

Checking through what they have received it is quite the haul and both are pleased with their rewards. In addition there are the orbs to look forward to!
