FeedbackJust looking to hear some feedback about the belt system. What do you all think of the abilities and the difficulty to obtain the belts?
Koku
I think the belts can get hard to achieve, but is good motivation to post and create new topics. Also the abilities are pretty good. I think having the ability to choose either to do damage straight up or add some damage to an attack is good. I feel like a black belt is really strong, and almost has no use for weapons.

Archaic

Hrmm the belts are reasonably difficult to obtain and truly do get to be immensely powerful. While some of the medium leveled belts will be hard to acquire (aka hot topics), they will naturally lead to obtaining the higher level belts that do require a lot of threads created. Over all you did a great job, and although it will take some time before we ever see a metal belt, it will be fun to see that in play.

I can do more damage with my weapon than with my blackbelt, and also if you have a blackbelt and a weapon that can do over 500 you can potentially do more damage than barehanded.
Koku
Very true, btu still. 500 damage each attack is pretty good. That is rather devastating. I would probably still punch and use my scythe though.
Beanbaker
I can't wait to get the higher ones, and I think soon in the chain my bare hands would do more than my weapon.
Koku
Well considering my weapon does a little over 1.2k I think I will continue to use my weapon. Also, if you want a legendary, you are going to need to use the weapon.
Beanbaker
Well by the way it seems I might get the legendary well before the other belts, so that is something I'm not worried about. I just can't wait to make a legendary, for it might come out weird.
Koku
When mine became a legendary two things happened. I felt a great sense of achievement for killing 10 people, (well one person 7 times and paying for his recovery). I also felt bummed as I could not fight most people anymore as they all feared me. With you you will always have one person to fight so you should just feel excited.
Beanbaker
Yeah, Archaic right now is pretty much my equivilent. Can't wait until 24 hours from now. Its going to be hectic and maybe even pretty long.
Archaic
Haha Yeah it will be a lot of fun. I seriously cannot wait to see who wins the epic battle of the middle weights. Plus, pretty soon and we can fight on even terms with Koorlic, and eventually maybe even Obagon, but we'll see if that happens.
Beanbaker
Yes, the battle will actually prepare us more for future battles, no matter who wins. The extra posts will get us up to Koorlic, then we can hand his rear to him on a shiny plate.
Koku
Well it would be good, but that is IF he stays on. So far he has only posted once since he returned, quickly. You two are basically rivals, enjoy it.
Archaic
Yeah, but his weapon is also pretty mighty so even reaching his post count it will be left to the dice to decide who wins and loses, more so than some other matches.
Koku
His weapon does 200, right? In that case if you reach his post count you both should be fine. Archaic, you would be safe because of your weapons, and beanbaker you would be safe because of your belts.
Beanbaker
Yeah, but look at our weapons. We're like 200 apart, so I think fighting Koorlic when we are just above him in post counts would be just another adventure, and I'm pretty sure me and you will fight again before we fight him.
Koku
Considerign you two are rivals I would not be surprised if you fight often. I wish I had a good rival, but Billgar is a little too strong with his weapon. If it gets too scary then I die. Plus there would be noone to really judge that safely besides for Obagon. I need a good battle rival.
Archaic
Hrmm maybe the Koku dolls can be used to generate a clone of Koku for you to battle. And every time he hits you there can be a little jingly bell inside the scythe. This way if you kill it, you get the jingly bell!
Beanbaker
Don't worry, the way things are going me and Archaic will be breathing down your neck in no time. Maybe we will do another two versus one like against Obagon.
Koku
You will never breathe down my neck as I keep up with your posts. Also if you do have a two on one I will make sure to use potions, and will be able to kill at least one of you very quickly. It would be fun though. Then again I can challenge you know and win with a wooden sword...

Yeah...unless he reawakens his dead weapon.....then it will be like fighting a heavyweight. Well...unless one of you two goes legend before then. Some mroe arena fights should help with that!
Koku
I want to be able to fight more. It is hard to make legendary weapons when no one will verse you.

Koorlic is now working at a lumber mill. You wont be seeing him much at all now. He has been playing Elder Scrolls something too. So what gametime he has, he spends it there. During the weekend he barely touches a comp due to being out with his cool friends like myself.
Koku
Oh that is both unfortunate and ok. Still get him off Elder Scrolls and get him here. LE is a lot more fun then the Elder Scrolls I played.
Archaic
Yeah but if its Elder Scrolls 4, than it will be very hard to get him off as that is a truly fun game that doesn't have a bug that makes all your efforts futile. Still he should come back soon otherwise he will be tossed into the Arena by either me or Beanbaker, and than potentially getting crushed.
Schmall
I have tried. I tried to the point he threatened to literally throw me again. I let it be. I remind him every chance I get though.
Koku
I think that may be the wrong approach. Just remind him so often, but start to find a way to make Elder Scrolls 4 seem boring. Doing that will work better then hyping LE.
Schmall
He's too stubborn. Besides, I have a really hard time influencing his choices when i am not around. when he is, i am usually playing some game with him some where anyways.
Koku
Well by keep asking what he did in Elder Scrolls, or by keep mentioning it, it will make him get sick of it a lot faster. Just a little psychology to get him bored of that and move onto something else. However, it can be seen that by pestering him about LE, you may have actually made him sick of that already. It is a tricky situation.
Beanbaker
Actually, if he is intrigued by the story line or something, you can spoil the ending for him, but that is kind of harsh. Since Elder Scrolls IV has a ton of stuff to do before even touching the story line, it may take a while.
Schmall
He has long since learned there is usually something going on besides what the face value of my words. He is finally starting to smarten up believe it or not. So psychology is out really. O well. He will come back in his own time eventually. Now if I can get his sister more often to finish our dual...
Koku
indeed. I am going to say if she does not attack within three days I will end the battle with you winning. You will not get a soul, but your bisento will get experience.
Beanbaker
Wow you really stretched the rules. I was looking at the duel and was wondering that, but its whatever. Good luck Schmall.
Koku
I will stretch the rules when I think that the fight has potential to be good. It is really judges discresion. I think fighting experience for both is too valuable to stop the fight.
Beanbaker
Yeah, plus that rematch I wanted with Jayy is now way out of the question. Good to know, I'll keep that in mind when looking at the contestants.
Billgar
Wait why cant you have a rematch with jay, did i miss something? Also i saw him online yesterday. Any posts?
Beanbaker
He made a thread on code geass. I cant have a rematch with jayy because of the huge post difference. I have 4 digits, he only has a 2 digit number. It would be no contest right there.
Schmall
I could have asked for the forfit back on friday, but I wanted the soul. still do really. plus it will be an honest win. good thing my new post count doesnt matter seeing as I have little over 200 posts since then. I think. not really sure, but its pretty close to right.
Billgar
Yes you have been doing exceptionally well with your post count. the quests are helping out alot too.
As for the bean rematch, i didnt even think of that.
Beanbaker
Koku mentioned it when I posted that Jayy was in the accident. He said it might be good grounds for a rematch, but now there is no contest, just slaughter.
