Though the most major source of funding is the quests now. I find it appropriate for people to be able to get GC for non quest events as well. Considering that the game is text based, its appropriate that events are done in text, so..

Outsideof the capital, from time to time, there is a flock of tonsor that wander near the gates, but never enter. Write a series of journal entries(as many as you like) describing your observations on them.
