HaberuleSo i was asked to buy this for my typography class which focuses on traditional type methods and doing things by hand. this item, the "Haberule" however is so obscure that it is in the museum of forgotten art supplies DOES NOT have a wiki page, and in forums reportedly hasnt been produced since the 60s....wish me luck!

The thing looks so old and out dated that it goes side by side by the old slide rulers. It looks pretty similar too. Good luck finding one for a good price.

Well at this point ive emailed the class and we are all at a loss. One person bought a type ruler that has picas on it, but it is far from the same thing. Anyways we are all pretty much doomed. But he has been teching this way supposedly for 10 consecutive years...so lets see.

Yeah that may be one of the problems too. All the ones that were on sale have not been sold to the people taking the course in the past, and now they refuse to sell them. Looks like you may need to somehow make your own (mostly kidding).
