How far doesn....

How far does the apple fall from the tree?
Koku

this is like an old topic we had about the apple tree on a hill. Normally the apple should fall roughly 1.5 to 3 feet from the trunk of the tree. However, who knows if it is on a hill.
Alucard_of_The_Helsing

"It depends how much the apple loved its parents. I've known some apples to export themselves to foreign countries just to be able to relax and unpeel."
Beanbaker

Three and two quarter half oranges plus the average weight of a skunk.  I dunno.  WHat kind of apple tree?  Crab or regular?  If regular, are the apples granny smith, red delicious, macintosh, candy, caramel, yellow, red, rotten, hollow, peach hybrid, squash hybrid, or worm-infested?
Billgar

AH! what a splendid Question to this question!
I would say that they are most likely they were baldwin apples!
Alucard_of_The_Helsing

there are that many kinds of apple. Wow its like there might be a food library that exist somewhere where you can shop for several kinds of apples.

Exactly it would depend where on the tree the apple had been and where the tree itself is, because the apple might fall straight down but if it's on a hill it might roll, or if the tree just happens to be growing over a river and the apple falls into the water who knows where it will end up?
Constantine

Mmm apples

Also, now that we have established that  it is a baldwin apple, how far from the trunk of the tree is it to begin with before it falls! also is the measurement from the truck of the branch that reaches the furthest out?
Koku

The measurement is from the trunk to where the apple was. It is also important to know how high up was the apple. Chances are a higher apple will not be the same distance away than an apple that fell less distance. It will either fall less as it gets damage or damages the ground, or more as it has more energy in use from the fall.
Beanbaker

Also the quality of the apple.  Firmer apples have more bounce, where as the rotten ones will squish easily and take the shock unaffected (or maybe it will explode...)
Archaic

Wait, we already established that they are baldwin apples, therefore the measurement should be from the trunk to where the apple lies. I mean, if its a baldwin the apple falls mere inches away from the trunk at most, after all, those Baldwins are all the same. I mean Alec, Steve and the other ones are basically clones.
Billgar

I have no idea what archaic is talking about, but baldwins apples are prime material
Archaic

I was making a joke about the Baldwin family.. you know the actors. But I guess it was a miss.
Billgar

Yeah, idont know the actors, sorry. BUT APPLES ROCK!
Koku

Apples are great, partly because of the usefulness in physics gravity problems. They taste good, but I feel slightly afraid eating them as they are kind of hard.
Billgar

Man i try to be as ba dass as possible, but one of my friends can rip an apple in half bare-handed! I cant *:(*
Alucard_of_The_Helsing

my brother can do that too but i cant. I mean its pure destructive power. He also can push me all the way under the hoop when we are playing basketball and lays it in easily. I in return tease him by saying he cant dunk.
