Microwaves and war farWhy havent we taken micro waves to the next level? I mean they are powerful weapons, just imagine what would happen if we created portable microwaves that emmitted their radiation at an even more amplified wavelength or speed, or intensity or whatever. I mean essentially its freakin invisible lazer beam! MICROWAVES ARE FREAKIN LAZER BEAMS!!!!!

Have you watched "Batman Begins?" Thier mobile super microwave is impressive and possible. The only thing they forgot to take into account is the the fact that the human body and other animals are made up of mostly liquids. This would also be effected seriously by the awsome, powerful microwave.

You do know weapons developmentalists are already experimenting with things like microwaves, and soon lasers, but not for a while. They have some things, but highly complex and expensive.

Actually as Schmall mentioned kind of, there is a weapon that causes extreme discomfort from heat that may be implemented son for riots.Whatever it is aimed at is blasted with a ton of heat from I think 100 yards away, causing the people to move out of the way.

The biggest issue with most super weapons, is not just the money, but the power needed. Look at the railgun. It is real. It can be used. It must be bolted down with thounsands of pound of steel and cement or be blown back a mile plus due tothe kickback, but the amount of energy to produce the shot is extreme. Until a more efficient and powerful power source is found or created, we do have a glass wall that needs to be overcomed.
