Insects are indeed in the kingdom Animallia. Or however it is spelled.

i saw a thing on history channel that showed a type of moth pest control. the male moth would be drawn to a machine spewing out female moth scents, and once the male moth arrived, it was covered in fungus spores. the spores would then immediately grow, and kill the moth from the inside

THAT IS THE MOST BRUTAL THING THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!
I wonder how the fungus works though? I want to see how this whole system works actually.
