no post count in arenaSo i have ben going back and forth with this in my head all week when Billgar said the arena does not add to your post count. I realize by allowing it to add to the post count, it will favor the judges for they post twice as much as the combatants do. Still, I was wondering what was the final reasoning behind this decision?
ps, I am not arguing or debating. just curious, that's all.

It is because judges would get so much from the battle. Consider the fact that I judged 2 recently that would get me 20 or so each. That would mean that for doing a little bit of work my post count goes up to 40. In some ways it can be seen as unfair, and as such we do not count the posts. I would not mind if we got the credit myself, but it is because I would benefit  .

It is exactly the fact that the judges would get too many posts by the sounds of it. Sure it effects the combatants, but as Koku would tell you, judges used to get so many posts per battle it was nuts and added up too quickly.

I figured as much. I wanted to be sure. Besides, right now we only really have Koku and billgar judging, so that would be rather unfair.
Thanks for the explantion. Like I said, I was curious and it needed to be satisfied like Archiac's thirst for blood.

Yeah they pretty mch already answered the question. Even though we ahve to be online for so long that we might as well get the posts. Anyways as it is me and koku get enough of an advantage with stuff anyways, and in addition i get a bazillion posts via updates...so thats that.
