Because we all now that the old school rocks the new school. I mean lets look at some anime shall we.

Gundam V Gundam Seed... gundam wins.
Basta.. V Reborn.... No contest again!

However there is also stuff like Rob the Robot vs the Wii mote. Come on now, the wii mote has nothing on rob the robot.

What other ones can you guys think about, and feel free to discuss them. This is NOT a forum game, so substance is required.

A lot of classics are good, but I can not say all of the old things is good. I man virtual boy vs recent updates to 3d or gaming... Also, sega genesis vs sega dreamcast (so under-appreciated). However, things like English rock music, old is better then new. I mean Thinner is a great example. They may make new music, but they are middle age (in this case counting them as old) and their music rocks.

Yeah i mean stuff that comes out now adays does have a certain amount of lackingness to it(inventing words).Of course there are always exceptions but here is my old vs new to show oldschool wins

One more for old school jump could be Riki oh- D. Grayman.

Riki oh's movie was so violent that it was banned in countries! That's how gross it got, and yet, it was just following the manga panel by panel. It was so nasty even I had to stop reading it.

I like D.Gray man! I think the big thing is just the big style change with them. Still, I suppose that it is legit argument as Riki oh seems better. A lot of old school things are better. I think I would prefer the original 151 pokemon (the ones you can get in the original pokemon, and yes you could get Mew without in game events or a gameshark) over the new ones.

Nintendo NES vs just about any gaming console out there!

Give me an old working nintendo and I will go dig out the couple of hundred games I have back with my parents and I will be happy as can be. Sure, most of those games cant save, but still, I prefer them over majority of games today. The game makers focused on game play, plot, and nintendo games are known for being impossible to beat (most). I love it! I mean, I can play hours on one game till I get frustrated, switch over to another and play for hours on that. I can go on and on. Not to mention the good old fashion duck hunt! I would have the cords rigged so that I would be 20 feet from the 24inch screen and still hit the ducks. Loved it!

Speaking of game consoles, I would say Playstation 1 had so many amazing games that I still play today, but playstation 3 is not doing too well and probably wont have as much great games. Granted PS3 will get some good games, but surely not as much as its ancestor.

Schmall

PS1 is the only console I will rank anywhere near to nintendo. The older PS1 games cared little for graphics and also went after gameplay, plot, and overall fun to play. Just look at the twisted metal series. I fully enjoyed them (except the second one)
