Potential issue.....Okay, well.....yeah. I'll get right to the point. Our barkeep is a theif....Now, this could be just me, and no offense to Schmall or anything, but does anyone see an impending problem with this? To each his own, and all that jazz, I just wanted to say that I doubt he's gonna be the type to "make war on high prices" any time soon.

LMAO!!! I never even thought of that!! LMAO!! I also have 7 common knives. I plan on making it in RPs that Schmall can juggle all seven of them. First he will start with one and work his way up. I think it would be funny and fun to do really.
Good thing the common drinks are free once again, uh TK? Keep in mind thought, Schmall worships nature and convents the stealth nature provides. I think the panther will become his symbol/ensigna. Actually, I like that. A panther stalking forward in a background of twisting vines. I like.
Anyways, so ya, there is a thief running the tavern. Wait until you see some gambling going on in there...

Thats great i never even thought of that when he chose the class. However I suppose that that is the case for all entrepreneurs .
On a side note, prices are regulated by the imperial court.

Ya, they take any bribes. they threatend to throw in in the stocks next time I try. So ya, I really have no control over the prices. Watch out for your wallet/purse though. Dont leave it lying around. and its not me you watch out for. I'm the distraction. Its Lumpy you need to keep an eye on. He's the master thief, and you cant hurt him and he knows it. lol

Im not gunna say anything untrue, Lumpy IS the master thief. The whole class system? Yeah it was lumpy's doing. Hes quite a skilled bird...well except in offensive magic that is.

I knew it from the start. He has a cold heart and knows how to find his way across dangerous situations. However, just know if anything of mine gets stolen, it will be one of your heads (schmall or Lumpy) in the tavern or arena. It is funny to have a thief as a barkeep. It makes me weary to play any tavern games.

I am most interested in the guard training only really for any possible tavern games. Schmall already has 7 knives for knife throwing. We already have enought judges for RPs and arenas. Just a thought.

Even if you wanted to start something like knife throwing now, i dont have a problem with it so long as you supply the prizes.....
However Guards, if accepted do get a monthly allowance, so it would help you with that.

I also have other prizes that would be worth it in a fight or two.....

just complaining about the odds. I only have d10s out in my car right now. I also discovered a powerful random number generator. You turn to someone and ask them to pick a number 1 through such and such. You have a totally random number and the person picking has no idea why. Be sure to pick different people cuz certain people favor certain numbers.
like i said about the odds, no complaining. just cuz there is a thief running the games........

Wait, so people have to guess a number right to get any prize at all? Not only does that throw the random number into the picture that is typically used to determine prizes, but then the people have to guess it right as well? Hrmm talk about stealing our money. XD

lol, I would use dice of course. But I actually would like to see more games that require people to go against one another. If its the house vs all, it will be me vs all. The system is always rigged for the house to win, but when against other people, the odds are even. Players can bet anything so long as they both agree.
As for games, I have a lot of simple little ones that I have seen from other games.
Another note. Been wondering how to bring it up. I know it will take a lot of work. Penandpapergames.com has a in forum dice roller. You type in the command to start it, tell it what to do, and end the command. There will be a footer a the end of your post showing what you rolled, any bonuses, and the results. this might be something worth looking into perhaps. just something to think about really. I will bring this up in another topic for it deserves its own. it will be under general.
