Samba de AmigoSAMBA DE AMIGO
 | Dreamcast
So, Samba de Amigo was a game originally out for the dreamcast system. It came with some fancy red maracas and was all "cool and hip" like a dance oriented game should be. Basically you shook the maracas as instructed on the screen. Though the game itself doesn't appeal to me, i like the character designs in 2D form. |
 | Wii Version
There is a Wii version of samba de amigo coming out this september. There are various places online where you can see some commercials that sega team already produced but in actuality the game seems to be a bit lacking in all area of game play. Simply put, unless you are a 40 year old with a vengeance against playing a guitar with colored buttons, this game isn't for you. Also instead of getting nifty red maracas, you use the wiimote and nunchuk to play the game. |

Why bother playing the game at all then. The maracas would be what would make the game by the sounds of it. This just seems like a waste. Too bad, even if it just came with attachments it would be good.

Actually, a lot of game critics are excited for this game as it is much more fun than it actually looks. Its similar to Donkey Konga in a way... seems gimicky and boring, but when you play it it is more fun than you want to admit.
