Scouting(feel free to join in!)LEaving the palace, Our decide that too much of the kingdom is unexplored!
Appointing gerald as the temporary Emperor as Our mount my lacrimabilis. Koku and myself set out to find a new land suitable for developing a trade city.
Koku
So Billgar, any land in particular you want to explore? My job is just to make sure you don't die, so wherever you go I guess I go.
Billgar
"A bit past lake validus perhaps? It seems there is a large mass of land isolated by water that We would like to check out. Perhaps we shall discover some new things?"
Koku
"Perhaps, but I don't know how safe it will be. Nothing we could not handle anyways." Jogging to keep up with the lacrimabilis I look around and that sites. I also look for anything posing a threat or a challenge. Seeing nothing of the sorts I continue to run besides the lacrimabilis. It is a good day so this training is appreciated.
Billgar
"Well you can job if you like, but we decided not to use a carriage." Looking up the gates to the city stand magnificently tall in from of them. With a clap of his hands, the two watchment cranks the giant red doors apart revealing a large bride seemingly miles wide and about a mile long.
"Perhaps we should take a carriage?"
Koku
What fun is that. I need to train so this will be good for me. As for you, I am sure the lacrimabilis would like to go for a walk too." I go over and lightly pet the lacrimabilis on the ear. I then walk away from it and look on ahead.
Billgar
"Very well at full speed them!"
We(singular) race off on Our lacrimabilis at full force attempting to traverse the bridge as quickly as possible. Looking over our shoulder we see Koku
Koku
Wearing a drenched inner layer, the clothing helps weigh me down a little making this run part weight training. Underestimating the lacrimabilis I start to speed up. the drenched clothes keep me from sweating too much and makes the run more enjoyable.
"Don't think you will lose me" I say while laughing a little.
Billgar
* a section of boarding beneathe kokus feet gives way."
"We shall have to get that fixed!!" We laugh as the already drenched koku falls into the calm sea below.
"Fufufufu" *we extend out hand forward to help him out
"You okay?" fufufufufu
Koku
Yeah you know, just going for a quick swim. Before taking the Emperors hand I look down into the water, dive down and quickly come up with two fish ready to be cooked. Putting them in my hood I put the hood up and take the Emperors hand. When on dry land I put the hood down to reveal to fish flopping in it.
"I figured this journey might be long. Just some fish to eat." I give them to the Emperor to do what he wants with them. Moving on I now feel the weight even more.
Billgar
We without hesitation stuff them into our top, and continue on. After a while the advent of the end of the bridge is no longer a distant dream, and we all arrive at it end. looking out one can see far to the south over a vast plain where the Lesear Mountain range stands high on the horizon. to the East we notice a great fog caused by all the water in that region. Pointing to the east
"That is the direction of lake validus! Shall we get going then?"
Koku
"Sure, it seems like it may have some possibility of holding some beast worthy of a fight. At the least part it will be a good time to train other senses than sight as it will be pretty useless if the fog is to big." I start to head towards the lake with Billgar riding by side.
Alucard_of_The_Helsing
out of nowhere alucard pops in and says " helo people I know you but you don't know me, so i am here to play a game. This game involves rocks paper scissors and Shoot.".
Koku
"I do know you and if that is a threat..." I pull out my scythe and look at him with a smirk on my face, "I will not hold back."
Alucard_of_The_Helsing
Alcurad reaches in behind his cloak and pulls out a table and 6 cards in total. " this is not a threat it is a mere way of becoming friendly" "if you dare to play that is"
at the moment there is no one but you so unless you want to base it on trust i suggest that we do not play.
Koku
Your words of dare and shoot are not my favorite. However I would like you to explain to me everything of the game you speak.
Alucard_of_The_Helsing
its is but simple lad 3 cards each three phases in total. you play a card and your opponent plays a card. the 2 cards stay faced down until the declaration of reveal by someone else. you must pm the other person what card you have played in order to avoid cheating and the other person declares the winner. rock paper scissor with no hands.
Koku
"Curious this sounds slightly like a gambling game, so you are not suggestiong to wager anything I hope." With that I cross my hands and look at him.
Billgar
The emperor keeps riding and eventually loses site of the two, he wonders where they couldve gone, but at the same time is in his own world
*meanwhile in the emperors own world*
The green sky hangs low above, bedazzling plants float like clouds. A river of tea cuts the land in half. Riding upon his Lacrimabilis he stopsf.
"Ah yes this is the rumored river of tea! Subarashi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
With that he gets off of the mount and floats up into the sky. FUFUFUFUFUF he laughs as he drinks tea while swirling through the air!
*meanwhile back in real life*
The emperor leans back on his lacrimabilis trudging forward, and a bit thirsty
Koku
realizing the emperor continued without me I try to listen for loud steps of a lacrimabilis. After zoning in to such sound I quickly run towards them. I do not dare let the emperor go too far by himself, lest he brings a new pet back with him.
Billgar
Finally the two immortals meet up once again. And continue onward.
"This is a very large plain, there should b a city here, let us build one!" With the the emperor gets down from the back of his lacrimabilis and beings to look around to see if there are any resources like water running through or anything. Apparently the answer is no.
"Is there not a way to build a man made stream from lake validus to this location? If so then surely there could be a settlement here."
Koku
It should not be that hard to create some type of channel, what is more is there might be water underneath the surface. Who is to say that the lake is not just part of something larger.
Billgar
Very well, but once we get a flow of water though the region, how are we to import all of the materials needed for construction to this abandoned plain?
Koku
well besides for boat, we can get some bridges built by just chopping a few trees close to here, and we can get some trained validian serpents to helps.
Beanbaker
Walking out from the brush behind, "Hey! What are you guys doing here? And whats this I heard about a city?"
Alucard_of_The_Helsing
Alucard gets rid of his disguise as a gambler and decide to follow the emperor and his guards, hoping that he would meet someone in the future that he can trick into gambling with him and so he can make some money.

Ah yes, We decided to explore the kingdom a bit as much is unexplored land. However during out travels we come along this barren plain! It would be great for a city, however there is no water that runs through so we would have to find a means.
Koku
You know, if not good for a town, then maybe it will be good as a prison. There is water not too far away, so it should be easy enough to fetch a fixed amount every day, or we could just make the prisoners build the irrigation system.
Beanbaker
"The prison might not be so good, for the wooded areas are too close, and very dense making escape very easy, plus building a canal would also have to drain the wastes, and not only is that a hazard to villages elsewhere, plus another viable escape route. Perhaps the town would be best."
Koku
Perhaps, but a god chase just makes it more fun to recapture. Still, this has potential, whatever is built here may be able to flourish if we do get water here.
Billgar
Bean! look around! where do you see woods!
*bean looks around and see a few scraggly trees*
nevertheless, a prison is not what we need. We need a town! Yes a town! But how to get the water here? And then the building resources as the woods are a bit off
Beanbaker
*Thinking to himself* "What the **** they - I - he - I saw woods, I walked out of them... maybe a river wouldn't be so bad. I'm loosing it."
Billgar
*we bend over and start digging a hole in the sand with out hands*
Beanbaker
I look at the emperor with utter disbelief. "Captain, he has had his lunch and afternoon nap, right?"
Koku
I start to dig wildly. I dig with both hands scooping the sand up and flinging it between my legs. Soon my whole is pretty big while I still dig.
Beanbaker
*Thinking* "I must be going nuts..." I pull out my sword and churn the rocky dried clay patches and then dig. "I hope I get paid for this...."
Koku
by now I have started to increase the dimensions of my whole. Instead of digging deeper I start to dig the hole wider and taller. I start to laugh under my breath because of how fun this is. I continue to make the hole larger and larger.
Archaic
*Archaic in his journey's comes across the scene of the Koku, Beanbaker and Billgar digging and starts to wonder whats going on and whose running the kingdom at the moment. Walking over he approaches the group and only says one thing.*
"What are you guys doing?"
Billgar
"We are digging! a canal to bring water from the far off lake to this plain!"
Koku
"Oh I thought we were digging to find water. I do not think a canal will be completed anytime soon. emperor, I believe it would be better to just get some workers especially for this. Maybe some peasants and possible lacrimabilis to help pull something that can dig more efficiently." With that I look at the emperor and wipe some sweat off my forehead.
Archaic
*Archaic continues to dig with his hands, making sure not to dull his sword on the dirt. Hearing Koku's suggestion he nods his head as a means of supporting his idea. He also wonders if there is a source of water under the ground perhaps. If so there must be a way to find it, but Archaic highly doubts that there is.*
"Physical labor without pay is the only way, Koku. Lets just deal with it for now."
Koku
"I just do not think it is logical. There are better ways to use our time than to dig a canal that would not be done for a long time. I think we need to use time more efficiently." I stand my ground, not willing to cave to easily.
Schmall
Schmall, who just happens to be standing on the pile of dirt that Koku has moved, looks down on the diggers and says, "Good work guys. We might manage this canal by the end of the decade at this rate."
Schmall then looks out over the plain, keeping watch for any critters that may attempt to make a meal out of the group.
Billgar
A few lump birds are nesting out there but nothing seems to be a a threat
"We are tired of this."
Billgar lays back and falls asleep
Archaic
"Figures that he would fall asleep on us eh."
*Archaic continues to dig, his hands getting tired and bruised. It was no fun at all and some people were not helping. Getting out of his trench, he walks over to Schmall and places him inside the hole and tells him to dig. Archaic himself gets back to digging after this.*
Koku
Taking my chances, I pick up Billgar and as smoothly as I can begin to walk away from the holes hoping he would forget about it. I start heading towards some mountains in order to make him focus on something else.
Billgar
We wake up
"Very well, i get the idea, let us head north and see if there is anything there that may be of interest to our kingdom!"
Schmall
Schmall, not liking being manhandled (literally!), jumps out of the hole and bolts into the tall grass of the plain. He shortly returns with some thick sticks and a couple of sharp edge, flat stones. He tosses them into the hole without hitting anyone and says, "Here, these should help with the digging a bit. I will take a quick run to one of those solo trees, climb it, and see if i can find any local nomatic tribes. No sense in moving in on someone's land with first taking care of them."
Schmall start to trot off to do exactly as he said he would do.
Koku
"perhaps there will be some good metal in the mountains, or even perhaps some creatures to chart." With that I put down Billgar and start to walk towards the north.
Billgar
*time passes* and eventually the individuals find themselves in a small grove of about 24 or so trees. They have odd long yellow trunks and merge into a greyish canopy above. though strange they are quite splendid however.*
"We are most thrilled, these trees are indeed a splendid find. We enjoy them greatly!"
*Billgar sits underneath them and begins to smoke his kiseru*
"No need to rush, we have made a great discovery! Let us enjoy our find!"
Schmall
Schmall, surprised to see the Emporer, descend from his tree after seeing nothing of interest in the distance. He takes the Emporer's advise and lounges off to the side.
Billgar
Reclining against the tree we suddenly appear startled.
"This tree is moving
But we continue to smoke
We are not alarmed", Billgar haikus.
The tree behind him suddenly lifts out of the ground revealing a pointed edge. All the others begin to uproot as well and move the canopies still resting above them.
"Yes yes, we have heard tales of these before spoken within the palace. A rare sight indeed....what were they called again?
Ah i believe they were referred to as Susicivi. However they shouldn't harm us if we leave them be."
A small dot appears on the horizon and slowly gets closer.
"The time has come"
"Gerald!!!!"the emperor exclaims as he picks up his beloved tonsor!
Placing it on his head he decides to return to the palace.
"We should get going. After all, the festival is only days away, there is much preparation to be done!"
Schmall
Schmall wakes up and notices the Emporer preparing to leave. So he does the same, figuring it safe to do what the Emporer is doing.
Archaic
*Archaic continues to dig until he notices that just about everybody has left already. Wiping the sweat from my brows, I get out of the hole and brush myself off. I too begin my journey back to the castle as to be there for the festivities.*
