Armor of Gods looks kind of weird. Its power is amazing though. It also looks like it might be fitting with the tengu wings. Together it would not be bad. Still, vI may stick with the cloak.

Yeah those wings are pretty intense and seem more powerful than most of the weapons available. However, I sadly must agree with Koku. The gods just kind of look gaudy with that colorization, but the ability is just fantastic and more than makes up for it.

Yeah those wings are impressive and the armor is a little funny to look at. Once I get more GC, I'm going to get those wings. I've been saving for new armor, but this is just more than I could have imagined.

I LIKE GAUDY COLORING!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY!!!!!!
and he meant he thought red and blue look bad together.

One question on the wings however, if you have negative malice, can you only do blessings and elements, or all including curse, which requires positive malice?
Billgar
You can only do what you ave the abilities to. So if you have a negative malice you can ONLY use blessings and Elements, but if you have positive, only curse and Elements, perfect zero allows all 3.

They look pretty cool. The leather tunic provides a unique bonus. I like it. Just one thing though, the previous barkeep spent some good money on his vault. the lock is a true master work and the key is hidden along with the magic words for the ward. So no chance of robbing the tavern. *looks sternly at all*
So billgar, does the Wings grant flying??"
OH!! the healer can attack besides with belts now!! Just wear the winged cloak!!
Koku
Well if you use the cloaks ability that is your attack... So in the end it is still you chose wether you want to attack or heal, it is just you can now heal in battle.

Soooo, does the winged cloak allow you to fly?? If so, that can make things all the more interesting. I do warn you judges as a DM that has dealth with flying characters, it can be a pain at times. So watch out.
Koku
Well the way we will do it is MUCH different. If you can "fly" it will only be about five to ten feet up and will make you still vulnerable to everything. Furthermore, it would not allow you much benefits in the end. I once was a flying creature ion Xlife but I lost the ability basically at the start of the game (the tank boots did not help). You can say they make you fly, bu really there is no benefit to it at all. There will be no benefits once so ever.
Schmall

okay. considered buying them soley for the purpose of flight. Would have been interesting to play with. Oh well, I will stay true to my original plans.

Besides even if you could fly I still highly doubt you would get any serious bonuses to stuff like evasion. If that were the case then they would cost some serious GC. Also, even if you did role play that you were flying, we have shown ourselves to have some superhuman strength and mobility at times, and worst comes to worst, I would simply pull you down using rope.
Koku
The thing is if he allowed full flight it would open up too many things to be explored. Also, if he did allow flight it would mean there would be flying creatures. Besides, if you think that those with flying would have any advantages, then you are far from aware of Xlife's happening.

I used it as a levitation, and it wasn't meant to be high or for transportation, just an over-dramatic representation of power. Nothing to really sneeze at. Besides, if you think about it, the wings would need to be bigger for flight, but maybe they can glide... somewhat... at least make a fall less painful.

I assumed no real, true flight. It would be useful to clear nice wide chasms, glide down from cliffs to escape, enable me to jump higher, no real bonuses, just make somethings easier.
true flight is too much. I hope to never see it on this site except for critters to fight. never for the players.
Koku
What you are asking for is too much. It is still a big bonus in the long run. Also I should inform you once again that any benefit that is used too much will eventually be fixed somehow, and this one is getting nipped before it even becomes exploited. There is no benefits and for the most part is aesthetic designed. The Victoria Secret wings do not give those girls the ability to fly, the same is mostly true with these.
Billgar
Hmmm.....can the wings let you fly? SURE! Once you get to 10,000 posts.
Schmall
lol, thats one way of fixing it all. lol
I bring things up when I think of something that can be exploited. If I bring it up before someone tries to do it, there is no real arguement at hand, only a friendly debate to help smooth things out in advance. So dont take any offense to what I say things like this.
One more thing though, It has been stated you can only do one form of attack outside of the belt system. You can attack with your weapon or cast. Can you combine the casting of the cloak with a weapon's attack to increase the power of the attack, or is it once again one or the other. I would assume you can not combine the two. Perhaps there will be a future orb that will allow this. Allow it at a rather costly price of course. A few souls and a few thousand GCs
Billgar
Umm i dont think there will be a future orb that allows this, it is either weapon or cast. Basically, You get one Attack per turn. You can choose to use your belt, a cast, and item, a weapon strike, anything like that...but just ONE. If you are an advanced belt with the combo type ability, you may then add that onto your attack.
Example, healer casts Rek then (they have a green belt), follows it up with an attack. That attack can max do 30. So lets say they do 12 damage plus they heal themselves for whatever. Their opponent uses a wind spell from the book of storms(part of the four wisdoms). As the wind lashes against the face of the opponent, they(being a green belt as well), come up the center and punch the healer in the solar plexis for 23 damage. The dealer then(having wings equipped, choosed to use a magic attack and ignited the opponents clothes on fire. As the opponent struggles they come up and kick them in the side of the head. Finally the other fighter, uses their long sword to attack.
Hope this helped a little.

Oh it makes sense. It was clear to begin with. I just wanted to make sure I had it right. thats all.
as for the orb idea. it was just that. an idea to think about. I would personally expect it to be reallllyyy expensive.
Billgar
IF it ever existed it would be something like
Cost: 10,000 posts, 1 IC
Schmall
I love your repsonse of 10,000 posts by then anything would be a plaything anyways. lol
Koku
Well by then you are a true immortal so you would deserve a lot more. Still, the IC is the big thing, that will be very hard to get. Basically by 10,000 posts you are not suppose to fight, just judge and obliterate anything that moves.
Archaic
Oh that sounds like a lot of fun. Granted by the time one of us reaches 10,000 posts a few more of us will be but a few posts away from it thus we could have some truly awesome battles between immortals.
Schmall
If any of us hits 10K posts, others should be not far behind. So those at 10K can dual one another. those battles would have a special arena just to contain the power within its walls and not destroying the land itself. lol. Epic battles for sure
Koku
No the arena can hold a lot, and by that time others may be close, but their weapons may not be. By then though, my weapons will do 3.5k damage and would strike fear into many people. Still, it will not be as bad as Billgar's who would do 8k damage tops and hurt. Flying by then would not be the biggest thing.
Schmall
true, but 10K posts can be many months to a year from now. That is a lot of time for someone to pull off a really cool legend that may even make you feel that person's wrath. If not, I am willing bet a 2 on 1 would be more than fair enough for you to handle by then when others catch up enough.
It will be fun to watch and track everyone as a whole and see how they develope.
Koku
Indeed, half the fun is watching people catch up and the sooner the better for me. I want more fights but as of now I can not even fight to my full ability against three people.
