"I shall accompany if at all possible. I think it will be a little fun." With that I grab my scythe from my back and hold it in front of my in my right hand.

As the two enter the Netropitus, the emperors eyes immediately fill with sparkles. He quickly starts running over to the stands to see what is being sold. Picking up a Tonsor that is walking by he looks at it and smiles. "YOU SHALL BE KNOWN AS GERALD!"

Walking with them, blindly following orders, I blindly ask, "Gerald?"

As I walk behind him I am not surprised. I just try to keep up with him as he goes looking around. I look at a few as I walk by and do not see anything particularly interesting.

We approach a cart with an old woman behind it several Tatus roots are hanging from it.
"What are these?" I ask looking at Koku
The old lady doesnt move much.
*Billgar pokes the old lady*

"I don't think thats very nice.... she could be sleeping... or, sleeping... maybe we should come back later."

"Wow she does not move much. Anyways," those are tatus roots, they are used to revitalize the body. They apparently hold some strong power to them. They may come in handy in a tight squeeze."
I turn look back at the lady, "Has she moved yet? I mean, has she even blinked!?" With that I shake my head and wait to see what we need to do.

"Maybe on our way back from the summoner. More importantly, What are these?" We look to Koku again as we pull down a tatus root and smell it.

"once again those are tatus roots, they are used to heal you."
With that I turn to look for fresh ones, noticing that they are all a little old. "How did she get these anyways. These are from the Forest of Souls. I think there is more to her than we were thinking." I look to her and ask, "tell me, how are you able to get these. Only a select few can travel to the forest of souls and get these?"

We have heard tales of those skilled at farming that are able to grow certain items outside of the forest. Do the citizens of Evroul not grow Uticensiums?"

"yes, but there is a lot of things not adding yup. I do not believe this old lady is really alive, but only a shell. Every person should have normal reactions, when touched it is usual for someone to do something in a reaction, such as a blink of an eye or something. Also, on that fact she has yet to blink it is not right! also, it is possible to grow some tings, but I do not see how this would. Maybe she is just normal, but I think something is weird about it." With that I continue to look at her and her goods.

Using our thumb and our forefinger we force open one of her eyes. Staring at it like a black hole born from chaos we decide she is alive.
Pushing her over we run away form her quickly and seriously.
In the middle of the street we play with Gerald.

Still looking at the pets, I start rummaging through my stuff to find some snacks to give to the hungry-looking perching lizards in the cage. "Hahaha, maybe they're a ton of feral lizards occupying her body, like what happened with Koorlic. In that case, shes more of a threat dead than alive!"

Still suspicious I go on with them. I look at the items and see a shiny object. Approaching it I notice it is nothing important and good watch the emperor play with Gerald wondering what happened to Alfred.

We continue to play for a while until Gerald gets board. Picking him up we put him on our head, and approach Beanbaker.
"Is there anywhere you would like to go?"

"With you guys, I'd want to go up to the forest near the farms and flush out those lizards, but I have nowhere in particular that I can't go to on my own time."

"Hmmm.....the lizards you say? yes, We remember giving that quest. Perhaps we should go there now and take care of the problem?
What do you think Koku?"

"Sure, it should be a piece of cake. Besides," I say with a grin, "I want to give my scythe more blood."

Beanbaker

"Haha, don't fall asleep... but I suppose thats where the nest is anyways. That was the last thing I saw before I died was all those things scampering into the hills."

Calling out, a carriage appears and we all enter.

Koku

"Hm, now I know you tried this before right beanbaker. Can you tell me anything that you gathered for information. I want to be on the same level as you." After saying that I rest my chin in my hand, ready to analyze the info.

"Well, it seems the main body of the attacking lizards go for the leader, or whichever is the strongest alive. They can eventually chew through metal, and the leave bad bleeding cuts. Also, they're small size makes them hard to cut. About fifteen killed me and Schmall. Koorlic was eaten to the point of a hollowed shell before he could wake. It was guard training all over again."
