Starter1: itsJWaiting outside of the Bulletin Board in capital, its takes a while but eventually a carriage arrives. Nothing flashy, just wood pulled by a lacrimabilis. With some hay in the back to sit on you climb in and before too long you arrive at the forest of souls. The forest itself is forbidden to all those except the immortals, but the area surrounding it is still a splendid sight! Looking around there are several lizards wobbling through the tall grasses or bathing in the sunlight.

You rush blindly into the brush of the area, no true destination in mind. There is nothing there, or at least noticeable, around.

i see tall grass behind the lizards to northwest of my direction im going. as i appraoch the lizards i duck to a path of tall grass

You see only one lizard now, a rather old one that was left behind. He does not see you, and is obviously struggling to keep up with the pack. Perhaps an easy kill.

i jump out of the tall grass to slay the struggling lizard with the edge of my sword with a downward strike

Upon the downward strike, the lizard was finally able to move. The strike was only able to cut off one foot and its tail, but it is bleeding profusely. Using its other foot, it gets up and bites your ankle.

i stumble for a few seconds upon the lizard attack but i soon run with a upwards attack

The upwards attack landed on the aged lizard, and cut one of the necks, spewing blood everywhere. Now he is extremely weak, but he still has some fight left. He uses his spare foot to claw your arm, but it barely broke the skin.

Unfortunately, a final blow is not so final. Only more bloodshed. A deep gash, going a quarter of the way through, does not kill the lizard. The lizard goes for another bite to the ankle, and deepens the last bite.

A direct blow that would've helped sooner chops off the heads of the lizard. Its blood pools in some depressions in the ground nearby.

Over near the water's edge, about a quarter of a mile away, is a brook. Some leaves are seen rustling on this windless day.

i walk with the bleeding ankle to the leaves that are moving on the water edge with my sword that has the lizard blood on the edge

An adolescent lizard is seen on a rock, toying with some of the fish and drinking some of the crystal clear water. A small waterfall gargles, about seven feet high, and fish are seemingly pouring out of it.

i leap closer to the lizard with a downward strike to cut the lizard in half

The cut in half did not occur, instead the tail was cut downwards. The energetic lizard yelps in pain, then jumps and bites Jayy's left arm. Jayy bats it off, but without the lizard taking a good chunk of flesh with him, leaving it bleeding profusely.

The first swing of the sword was successful, leaving a gash in the lizard's torso. The second swing left a minor cut in its neck. The third swing, anticipated by the young lizard, is dodged, doing nothing. Smelling the blood on his ankle, the lizard starts scratching at the wound, hoping to get another scrap of meat.

The first strike lands right on the mark. Both heads of the lizard are removed from the body, which is left standing, squirting blood, until the wind generated from the sword swing pushes the creature over.
