Billgar

The Belly of the Beast

Billgar having stormed out of the capital pushes the giant red doors that guard the kingdom open himself. the fly back and slam into the walls that surround the island utopia. Guards come running to close the doors, it takes a unit of about 40 men per door to close them, and even then it is a slow process.

The contrastingly athletic form of his eminence crosses the red bridge. Getting to the other end, he looks back to see if Koku is following.
Koku

Jumping down from the left large door I land halfway across the bridge. Letting my wass out of my hands I soon catch up to Billgar. "Finally, another adventure, this shall be fun!"
Billgar

"Yes it has been a while. . . . . . . "

A carriage arrives for them to enter. Pulled by a lacrimabilis it seems as if they will be traveling by ground. Billgar steps into the 'vehicle' and waits for Koku, soon they embark. While crossing the plains, a storm of dust kicks up, and though safe inside the carriage, they are joined by the driver, forced to wait inside until it passes.
Koku

"These sand storms are rather annoying. I think we should look into improving the vehicles to make them able to cross through these storms better. I suppose that means will will need to explore more land for more materials though."
Billgar

"It would definitely be work loo.."

Billgars words are cut off as something slams into the side of the carriage. No real damage is done, but it gives the vehicle a good jolt.

"Seems the wind kicked up something big?"
Koku

"It is possible. Would it be easier just to go on foot rather than wait it out then." Looking around I look for anything such as plants or jutting out rocks.
Billgar

The storm settles.

"We should just go on foot as you said, perhaps it is the easiest method. . . "

Walking for a while the plains drag on forever, and the sun beings to set.

"We should rest for the evening?"
Koku

Looking around I try to find any thing like dry wood. I also let my wass out of my hands so that he can run around a little bit. I pet him when he comes near me before letting him run around more. I try to sense if any presence is around us, but soon realize that there is a bit too much small life adding up to a lot to try to determine if anything large is out there. "It is times like this that adventuring seems to be at its best. The sites untouched by civilization are not easy to get to, but very rewarding."
Billgar

"Looking for wood? No need."

Billgar looks down at a spot on the sand, the  wind kicks up the grains and they clash against one another, the friction forms a decent heat. and the static electicity makes a faint glow.

"this should do?"
Koku

"Very well indeed. Thank you." Pulling out a plain tea pot  I put some water in it and bring it to a boil. "While it is plain, hot water on a cool night does do wonders. Please have some yourself if you like." After a long pause I look back at Billgar instead of seiko who is still running around, now in proximal range to the fire. "What is it we are after again?"
Billgar

"HAHA! the details We gave were a bit vague weren't they? Bean investigated some strange on-goings in a forest...the quest was given by some society or another. regardless, We were the one posting guards there...for various reasons. The situation seems to have worsened however, and it requires our attention."
Koku

"*sigh* You can't leave the work up to regular guards anymore. Good for nothings, I will have to train them until they can't move anymore when I get back!" With that I grab my wass when he gets close to me and put my head done try try to focus my attention on my surroundings, while also catching a little sleep.
Billgar

Dawn comes quickly and koku is woken up by the emperors snoring.
Koku

Not bothering to attempt to go back to sleep I merely look at the scenery. I look back at my wass who is still very fidgety, even while asleep. I then try to sense if there is anything around that appears to be a danger.
Billgar

The emperor wakes up.

"Koku, There isnt time to waste staring at the scenery!" Billgar yawns, still half asleep. "We must press forward. He begins to walk, dragging his feet." The bottoms of his silk garments drag throughout the sand. leaving a trails behind him that even the simplest creature could follow.
Koku

"..." Looking at the dragging garments I give up trying to sense anyone and move forward, letting my wass run by my side.
Billgar

Quite some time passes, and eventually the two of them get to the forst that bean had visted once before. Entering, ti gives off a certain ominous presence, quite different from the forst of souls. The trees are in a state of decay, and browned leaves line the forest floor. the trees are spaced out allow a bright but unsettling light to shine through. Noises can eb heard a bit off, and then the sounds transition to above. The body of a Kegawa falls dead from a tree.

The emperor stepping back swiftly dodges the falling corpse. A man in aluminum plate armor covering the openings of the helmet with a piece of paper bearing some strange red mark approaches. The bow in his hand and the arrow in the Kegawa explain the situation to an extent.
Koku

First looking at Billgar than back at the man I try to see what Billgar is trying to think of (even though I know not to bother). "I see you are hunting here, is there any reason in particular. You are not by any chance related to the decaying forest are you. I do not know much of why we are here, but I do believe that you are killing some of the few animals that live here.
Billgar

"Koku, It seems there are some matters than We need to elaborate on. Undoubtedly you have come across similarly dressed individuals in the past. If not then perhaps you have heard tales. In addition to the Imperial Guard there are others in Our employ. Understand that this special unit is quite necessary in containing larger scale disasters."

Looking at the oddly masked figure.

"Lead Us to the edifice."

After not so long the three arrive at a large golden structure. Its massive doors are ornate beyond description, and another two "guards" stand at the door.
Koku

"Hm, I do not know what I heard before, there have been too many rumors." Looking at the guards now I say little, I merely nod my head. I pick up my wass as to not allow him to run away, he seems nervous though.
Billgar

"Prepare yourself accordingly, for inside there is indeed a beast that we may not be able to overcome."

The emperor holds out his palm towards the two guards at the door. Light is sucked forth from their suites of armor and enters the emperors hand. With a radiant glow emanating from his palm, an even greater power seems to be within Billgar's grasp.

Approaching the guards who stand perfectly still, He grabs the pieces of paper coverings their faces and tears them off, revealing that they are nothing more than hollow suits of armor.

With the magic pieces of parchment removed, the suites of armor collapse to the ground.

"Beyond this door is the weakest of the 6 Beast Gods who have existed before the time of the reigning 7 immortals.  Ready yourself."
Koku

"Something tells me readying myself is to prepare for death. Still, What must be done must be done." As I say this I take out my stomp blades and make my wass wait outside. Before going in I tell him to run if in danger, and to listen for my call to show that I am back. "Right, let's get going, no need to waste time right?"
