The Harsh Cry of the HeronRecently I read a fantasy book that was pretty good, written by a guy who had an interest in Japanese History (and historical culture), and who put that info into making the book. While it is not based on Japan itself, it was on a place similar to it in a few ways. Overall it was good, though the ending being a little rushed. I liked it enough to pick up the first book to the series (as this was the last one, but oh well, it will be like watching a movie and an anime where you see the ending before the rest of the stuff leading to it).
