The Time before ClassSo being the paranoid individual that i am I am constantly concerned about whether or not I am going to make it to class on time. As a result i leave my house insanely early, and usually get there about 20 to 25 minutes before the professor even shows up.
This seemingly meaningless free time however is needed as i tend ot confuse buildings and get lost on ocassion, so while days like today seem like im wasting time, but other days it is 100% necessary.

Nice, I usually leave about 15 to 25 minutes early myself, but it takes about 15 minutes to get to some of the furthest places. With days like today (really hot, muggy, and myself being sore), it is most likely to take longer so I go earlier.

Besides, it gives ya a chance to talk with the other early students. Excellent chance to swap ideas, answers, notes, and general information about the class. Very helpful. I was part of one class where five of us showed up 15 minutes early every class to do just that. We would swap assignments and make sure we all had it right. If there was something wrong, we would help that person understand why it was wrong, not just give them the right answer. We all ended up with A's in that class

WOW! Thats a great idea schmall, HOWEVER as you may have guessed, being the creator of LE and having that awesome nerd potential, I am not exactly the most social in situations where people are the same age as me. BUT IF I WAS! that would be a great resource.

I do the same thing for some reason I always leave about a half hour before the class starts and it only takes me about five minuets to get there.
The thing about talking with other students in the class is not always helpfull, for example today I showed up to class early and one other person was there before me. So we talked a little, because I know her and have had other classes with her, but then she decided to point out that she didn't like the projector thing was set up in the class room, because it reminded her from something out of War of the Worlds and any minuet it was going to shoot the death ray thing. So throughout the whole class I kept looking at it thinking the same thing.

When I go early I usually find some of my friends to talk to in class. I would not want to talk with complete strangers if I do not need to. I instead would like to just gather my thoughts and prepare for class.

Having competive art design like classes that you have billgar, it does sound had to pull off such an idea. However, in a class like accounting, math classes, or just about anything were facts matter more than opinions, not being social doesnt matter. Just have the right answers more often than the others and you will be accepted in those discussion before class. May not work so well outside of class all that often, but you never know. Its worth the try. I will do anything to do better so long as its not cheating.
As for that death ray chippit, sounds like the two of you had a rather nervous class. You can always move it when you get there early. That is if its not attached to the ceiling...
