I heard it too on the news, and I barely caught something about that guy being deemed a hero to someone in the middle east, and another person is putting a huge amount of money foreward to buy the shoes.

All the late-night comedians were up in arms about how agile bush is.

I'm not quite sure he understands just how much he was disrespected that day. I mean just showing someone the bottom of your shoes, or sitting across from someone with the bottom of your shoes showing is extremely rude and insulting. And having shoes THROWN at you. That's complete disrespect. Which I don't think he understands.
