too much rockbandResulted in my bass pedal breaking. Its not fully snapped yet, but there is a huge crack going down 3/4 of the pedal. So now my options are paying like 30 for a plastic replacement like what came with it, or paying 50 (both prices after shipping) for a metal replacement that wont break. What should I do?

Alright! Yeah its funny my mother also told me to get that one too... she said to be smart, but it makes sense. I mean the plastic one broke within like 3 months, only a month of which was expert, and 2 weeks of which were hardcore expert songs (the last two tiers on drums.) So I guess I would probably just end up breaking an other plastic one anyway

Yeah and besides metal anything is instantly better. I think that it is funny that it is your bass petal that broke and not a drum or drum stick.

Well my drums are reinforced with extra supports that keep everything from moving, and my pads themselves have the silencers on them that softens the blows of missed hits. Therefore, the only part of my drum set that hasn't been altered in some form has been the peddle... which just broke. I guess that says something about the quality of the standard model of drums eh.

Hrmm depends what you mean by wailing. I don't go out of my way to hit the drums hard, its just that when your hitting like 140 BPM on the later songs, you tend to build up a ton of momentum. As for the peddle... well if you knew how many times I had to try Don't fear the reaper on expert before actually beating it (30-something) and then look at all the quick steps there... it was bound to break.
