ultrabalmI was going over the orbs and weapons again for the millionth time and realized something, the ultrabalm may not do what I thought it does. It says it "eliminates strain a weapon." According to the wording it will get rid of all strain, but not prevent it
so just curious, but was this your intent Billgar? or at the price of 4 souls (instead of 5 now) does this orb prevent strain too?

It does not it is simply a means of reducing it. The best use i could suggest would be after using a lavamax or its equivalent so that if you decide to add other lesser orbs your weapon will not break. It is not preventative tool, it is a cure.

Okay. Days ago I got the idea of prevention in my head somehow. Thanks for clearing that up before I plundered into that one. Looks I will be dumping strengthing orbs into it for the time being then. My gc is tied up for future plans.

Indeed, however as of me, I may decide to get a pair of twin stompblades and maybe if I can afford it 2 lavamax orbs, then possibly put on a few souls, all before they become legends. That osounds like it could be a lot of fun to use against people.

Hmmm....now that you exlained all that, maybe it would make sense to keep the twin at 1MC. As while now it is more affordable, it lends itself far too well to getting lavamax put on it. Though maybe that is not a bad thing. Im still debating that one item mentally. However, if you buy it soon for the cheaper price and i do raise it later it is your win!

It is two weapons ya know. That means 1 orb only effects 1 weapon. This can also be fun because each weapon would have its own properities as you add different orbs. Something to help balance the twin stomp blades out. This will also effect other similiar weapons like the tonfas of course.

Yes but there is one major difference between the tonfas and the twin stompblades, the stompblades are unbreakable whereas the tonfas can snap like twigs. Thus is Koku wanted to, he could buy two lavamax and automatically pile them on the stompblades thus being able to do over 800 damage total! It would just be too intense.

Indeed, if I wanted to I could have some nasty weapons because they are unbreakable, hence why they are so nasty and need to be expensive. Their strength is only one reason they are good. Now that they are expensive again I feel they are at a good price. They are basically legends and should cost about the same price as one.

Should it be one lavamax for one weapon for 200 extra max damage or one lavamax for both weapons for a total of 400 extra max damage?? There are two weapons when it comes to the twin stompblades. That is my question.

By the sounds of it the +200 can either be divided amongst the two or added on to one blade as you see fit. Thus you can potentially build up one super strong blade that you use for offensive purposes, and one weaker blade that you pretend to use in a defensive manner. I suppose with the new legendary system, this method could result in a rather interesting weapon.

Lavamax can only be applied to one of the swords. Indeed, I may try to make it so that one can do a whole heck of a lot of damage would be kind of great, and may lead to a defensive blade and an attacking blade. Or it will lead to the blades merging into one as the weaker one fades away.
