I know billgar is the one the usually starts topics in here. I feel this is appropiate.

I am looking for any ideas and suggestions for the Provience of Validus. I have several myself and just looking for some input from everyone. I do not promise to use them, but they will go into my thinking tank. Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions, tips, and ideas.

Why don't you just use our ideas from when we wrote those passages on exploring the Validus province. I'm pretty sure we might think of some new things, but the stuff there is a good point to jump off of.

I still think that there should be an arena that is slightly emerged in the water. A couple people have validus serpents as pets, but they can only be used in the water, and thus realistically get no play time. However, by introducing a water arena, not only will we get to see that summon in play, but things will be get mixed up a bit.

Well maybe on that topic have an aquarium. Maybe it will allow for some more almost useless aquatic animals to be created. That and do not forget fishing for regular fish, and mayeb every once in a while some type of other treasure (nothing to expensive).

I like kokus idea and i already spoke with schmall about some ideas for incorporating the water. I dont think an arena is for the best however as the current one doesn't really get enough attention as is. However further down the road this may be possible. and koku, what are you thinking making more work for me? jk.....i should make more summons....

Well think of it, you can make more random ridiculous summons for water, like the tonsor equivalent. As for more work, well... I have nothing to say about that. I just think it would make things fun.

I like it, its something else to do than sit in the tavern all day. A good place to roam around and catch stuff too. Hope some interesting quests come out of the place.

Yeah i feel that for validus considering its resources it should really become a water oriented province. So far the msot active and successful thing that brings in mroe money than even the shops on the site happens to be the fishing, so it would be good to keep up with that, work on the aquarium some more and maybe add some mroe water oriented crafts. If people can get something from it they are more likely to participate.

I will expand the province as Schmall's control over the place increases. Just because he has the deed dosent mean he is in complete control. Perfect excuse for some quests too.

Right now I am picturing Lake Validus as a huge donut with the mountain island in the middle. It is on average 3 miles from the shore to the island. Thus it is a good size of a lake. The island will be about a mile horizontally across. There a bunch of fishing villages and a few towns. There will be no cities though. Not enough people to support one.

Besides, if I grow the province slowly, it will give me something to do for months and provide tons of entertainment and joy for all.

If you grow it too much I will make sure to steel the deed, be careful. Also, I think that you should need to pay to expand it. Otherwise it may grow too much and get out of control. Also, I always pictured Lake Validus as being smaller. Still, good job with the stuff you have now.

Yes the stuff there no is pretty fun, but you need to find a way to get better control over its tourists... and by tourists I mean Koku. Still it is very fun, and fishing actually is rewarding as of now (I say out of bias.) Also, as fun as it would be to see it expanded, I myself would be careful of expanding it so much that it conquers other territories.

Just because the province is massive, doesnt mean I need a whole bunch of topics. Sure, there will be a few mundane things like the Park and The Slop [just had to put that one in there, oh Koku, she says the offer still stands ;)]. The rest are to be above average kind of things that are fun to do. I am glad you guys enjoy the fishing for I have had a blast writing them for you all. I now cant wait for the first RP to start. I will only do one at a time for I dont have the practice like Billgar and Koku have.
