because i know bean is still in highschool, and some other may know do you know what the start date is for the highschools in worcester?

August 26, I believe. Kind of early yet we get out on June 15 according to the calender. Why do you want to know? Plan on torturing us?!?! You will never break my spirits!!!

I hope alumni are able top visit then. I hated not being able to go there, it was so lame of them to do.

You can, I think, some alumni visited some of my teachers. You might want to schedule though. I have no idea. I guess if you know the administration they can just let you roam.

I knew the principal and I was not allowed to. However I think the after last year they should allow the good kids back. For they were the only ones who did not get in as they did not sneak in.

If you knew the principal, you're out of luck, he retired. If you knew Mr. Morse, the assistant, he is now principal. Mr. Kreamer, the old first-floor WEMS assistant, is now Mr. Morse's replacement. Also Mr. Mechshin (however its spelled) leaved too by the way.

KID! Mr. Morse as in used to be the head of STB Mr. Morse? I was like...his direct subordinate! cuz i was one of the two student heads(couldnt decide who) that were in charge of STB! What about Coonan? U know him? What does he do now?

Don't know Coonan, but he's still there, don't know what hes doing though, never had him for a class yet. Someone told me but I forgot. And yes, head of STB Mr. Morse is principal now.

I remeber Mr. Morse from when I went there. He was nice... especially when I had to go to the office.

Hmm it's weird the high school's down there dont go back until August 26th when the high school up here starts again on the 12th. Poor, poor Maine students... but I think they may be getting a longer winter vacation this year because of that.

There was a question going around Washington saying that all schools should open on the same day (but close different from snow days), since almost every school has heating/air conditioning. What stinks though the class of 2010 (my class) was promised to be the first graduating class out of the new North High, but a newspaper said it might not be done until 2011. That means no AC!!! And not only that, next year is probably going to be hotter in the summer, and when we had the three-day heat wave here, the school INSIDE was 100 degrees in most places.

I really hope so too. Everyone was promised, and since the plans to the new building were proposed, it was postponed so long the prices for everything had tripled. They were even supposed to build the new voke after the new north. Oh well, my class might be the last graduating class of the old building.

Yeah whenever they said that they were going to be making a new North, it got to the point that nobody believed it and the popular motto was "wait till the first shovel is in the ground." So yes the very fact that they started working on it is nothing short of a miracle for you.... or is it a tantalizing curse since you can actually see (and hear?) the construction but wont be able to enter it.

Yeah the construction was going really well when school was in session. When I tried to visit they had almost completed everythign that is done now. Why it slowed down so much I just do not know.

Yeah they are taking their sweet time. They have some tarmac down for some reason, perhaps a parking lot, but the last time I was there, nothing really changed, not even a foundation is down yet. The large machinery is going to chew up their tarmac, and they will waste money replacing it. I get the feeling all they did last year was use the pile driver to smash rocks smaller and smaller.

That sounds like them that whole city has its head up somewhere special as far as the way that politics work. If they havent started construction(actual construction) yet then everything is most likely just for show! Thats the way that the government in that city works. You might....MIGHT! see the new building in 2020 but of course we will have people living in undersea colonies by then(looks around to see if anyone got the reference).

Yes, that is, if you believe in 12/21/2012, then the school MIGHT be built. Otherwise converted to a fallout shelter hole-in-the-ground. Try doing MAPS testing when they dig holes in rocks. That and the fact no AC... it was torture. I slept by resting my head on my arm, to make it look like I was reading the screen.

I have no idea what MAPS testing is but I do know how noisy it must have been. I hope they can build the school by 12/21/2012 (that is a lot of 1s and 2s). If not then they fail badly and do not deserve to exist. The school should already be done! The original plans were so old they needed to update them again.

Koku I believe you missed Beanbaker's reference. 12/21/12 is when the Mayan calender stops and many believe that is when the world is either going to come to the end or change so radically that its like a whole new world. Still, I think the building will probably be done come the year 2011 for sure. As for the Mayan thing, that is a subject best discussed in an other thread.
