*Billgar plays with the beetle and squeels a bit as it is fun. His face blushed. Regaining his composure he looks stern once more.

He returns to the throne and sits upon it back straight and watches archaic leave. After he does so he pulls out gerald and holding him close against his face pets him.*

Entering the court still covered in blood, I make sure that none of it gets on anything that will stain. "You emperor, Schmall and I managed to kill quite a few of the soldiers. Here are three Halberd's that I managed to take from them as proof." Handing them to Billgar I make sure there is not too much blood on the weapons themselves so that it does not stain his attire.

Billgar claps his hands and two servants roll over a cart. Alot of this large wooden flat is a series of halberds stacked atop each other in the fashion that logs are laid for a log cabin. Taking the three halberds he adds them onto it. Clearly he is just playing with them. Another two attendants dressed in hakamas bring over a cushion with the two promised orbs on it.

Returning to the court banged up I make sure Sanshin Dashi is accompanying me. "Emperor, we are back from our fight with a general." Pointing to Sanshin I continue, "This is him. HE seems to be done with fighting us and may even be of some use with farming. On a different matter we seemed to all make it, besides beanbaker who did not get in the cart in time."

Billgar with a half smile half frown type expression looks down a bit....."hrm.....beanbaker huh?"

"Well nothing lost nothing gained right?" billgar revealing a tube like object pulls a tonsor out of it. The physics behind the action are mind boggling and impossible as the entire diameter of the tube is about half an inch.
"However it is good that you managed to bring a general here....I suppose you also did bring his head even though the body is attached."
tossing a small bag over to Koku,"In there is the 500gc for your group, split it as you see fit. General, would you mind staying to talk with me a bit?"

*already kneeling down as he is in the court of the emperor, he does not raise his head but gives a nod*

"Excellent,"the emperor comments, "Koku! You are free for the time being give me some time to talk things over with the general."

Walking back very slightly winded, I make my way to the court. "We have successfully killed one of the generals. Archaic has the severed head you wish to have. While Koorlic fell, the rest of us made it alive. Archaic, please reveal the cranium to Billgar."

*Archaic appears behind Koku with red on his lips, dripping down to his chin. Wiping it off, he reveals the non dripping head of the general and licks his lips clean.*

"This guy was but a coward who hid behind his guards... not even worth the time we spent on him. However... at least his blood tasted pretty good. Hahaha! I recommend putting his head on a pike and showing it off in the market place. Strike fear into those who wish to rebel."

"Please do not say such unimportant things in the court." Getting out of my kneeling position I quickly kick Schmall out of the courtroom. Getting back down I look up to Billgar. "May we get the reward money? And I think it would be best if we take down this last general before taking on Hans, I feel as if we will be better off if we only have to face his guards then if we have to face his guards, him, and a platoon of people."

Billgar staring intently at the on-going the whole time remains silent. Koku being quite perceptive sees a bit of drool come out from his eminences mouth. Knowing what the problem is he get up quickly and grabs the emperor by the shoulder. His eyes opening it seems he had one of his servants paint eyes onto his eyelips so he could appear awake when sleeping.

"Right! no, We were awake the whole time." Billgar looking about sees the head of a man nearby and assumes it to be that of a general. "Oh, well then here is the award, split it as you see fit." Grabbing a bag beside the throne billgar gives it to koku.

Schmall enters the court only slightly cleaned up from the epic battle with General Han at the front gates. He gives a bow with a slight flourish of Solomon and Sparky appears to be napping on Schmall's shoulder.

"Your Eminence, General Han is dead and his demoralized army is returning home," respectfully says Schmall. "I know you wanted Han's head Sire. We are unable to retreive it from the bottom of the sea due to the fact that he was petrified by a man wielding a glowing blue wrench. I think he was the winged carriage inventor. Anyways, I am here asking that those that fought Han would be able to split the 1200gc that was offered seeing as no one will be able to retrieve the head in exchange for his armor and weapons."

Indeed, We are aware of the situation as We were there. Also the man with the wretch was indeed Mr. Frederick Edwards. That aside We feel it still necessary to reward your efforts despite the fact that Hans was deafeated by my own party. Instead of the 1200 total for the party you shall each receive 650GC which also will serve as a consolation for the armor.

Standing from the throne Billgar glances over at Beanbaker who has a feather pen in hand and a scroll in front of him. A large audience of individuals stand in the court today and outside as His Eminence had arranged to address the Kingdom.

"Those who dwell in Nocte!

We are a Kingdom that has come to thrive and prosper. After the defeat of the blasphemous Hans order has spread throughout the lands and we know a great peace! However a Kingdom CANNOT survive on its own.

Even in Our childhood there were tales told of another kingdom even further north than the Swamplands and a great deal beyond the desert city of Sahvar!

Perhaps you all have nto heard the tales? It is said that an endlessly expansive kingdom, the kingdom of Luminous lies beyond a great wall of mountains that isolate our lands from theirs.

In the country of luminous, strange and fantastic creatures wander the land and trees of gold grow from the ground. We have heard that the capital city itself is made from pure silver! EVERY MAN WOMAN AND CHILD lives like a wealthy merchant and there are settlements end to end for as far as the eye can see!

But why do We bring up these tales of old? Why of course because Nocte must advance! If we wish to continue life as we know it we must reach out to other kingdoms and lands! Currently the Palace here is gathering information about this rumored land of gold.
