Following up to where I am allowed I call back to Billgar, "Sir, with all due respect, do you not think that this place will be very heavily guarded? If such a land exist, surely they will want to keep it for themselves?"

Billgar, looking board sits upon the throne....

"Though things here are prosperous under Our rule, We feel that there is no excitement, no thrills of conquest, no desire to expand upon Our kingdom. Why is this? Perhaps We lack power? Or maybe We lack the determination to take into our hands fate!"

Gerald lazing about raises his head and looks at the emperor.

"KOKU! Gerald is in your care! We shall return once we have become a more proficient ruler!"

Standing, Billgar, exits the court, His determination seems great, so Koku does not interfere.

Watching Gerald, I stare blankly at him for a little bit and then look down. Knowing that I was just giving one heck of a job to do, I breath out hard.

Waking up from a sort of snooze and watching the emperor strut out rather vigorously, I straighten out my uniform.

Looking down the hall, "I hope he knows what hes getting into." I look at Gerald, then Koku. "I hope you know what you're getting into..." I start to leave and head for the tavern. "...because I certainly don't."

*Archaic enters the imperial palace and walks up to the emperor with bandaged hands.*

"Emperor sir, I need your help finding the location of this place."

*Archaic hands Billgar the crumpled note in his pocket that he received back in Evroul.*

"I feel as though it is either a challenge or an invitation addressed to me, and I need to find out where it is at. I also request that the location be kept a secret, so maybe send your tonsor with the message. This could also be the location of one of the capitol's enemies, so by aiding me you are surely aiding yourself."

Billgar runs into the court sweating. Gerals is just behind him.

"We are indeed the fastest." Billgar bends over and holds his knees as Gerald casually walks past him, clearly indicating that the bird let Billgar win.

"Archaic! Where have you been, welcome back!" An attendant comes over and wipes the sweat from billgar's brow.

"I apologize for my absence, but unfortunately I was temporarily captured by Necar. He offered for me to join him in his conquest against Nocte, but I decided to go against his wishes. I also encountered his brother who could summon hestiss from his own body. They are both extremely powerful, but more than that, I also found out that it was Necar himself who sealed that box you gave me.

Before I leave I will also tell you one more thing of interest; the caveman has betrayed us. Also, are there any quests you want taken care of immediately that I can solo. I am dying to test out the capabilities of Nosferatu."

*Archaic turns around and waits for a response before leaving.*

"Nothing at this moment takes precedence over anything else. You may take whatever quests you wish. What worries us however is that you said Necar was planning to conquer Nocte. We knew his presence would bring calamity, but not that his intentions were as such. Seeming that you met his brother however, We fear that We must explain the situation in greater detail.

As you may or may not be aware, We the emperor, are indeed a lesser deity. Accepted unconditionally into the realm of the gods based upon birth right and special abilities. However though that rank may seem far above any mortal, in the Realm of the Gods, it is but a mere trifle.
When the world was created, there were originally 18 great beings who held power. 8 massively powerful beasts, and 7 creatures in the form of man.

However after a rather drawn out battle and several other circumstances, the 7 man-like creatures were destroyed. In their place, seven humans that were created from the original 7 man-like creatures gained immortality and came to possess power over the elements.

As Millennia passed by, more immortals were born, or given power from these 7 founding deities. As this happened, a system of rank was established. The hierarchy is as follows.

Half Children of Founding Deities
Reigning Deities
Greater Deities
Deities
Less Deities

We fear that a man such as Necar is far more powerful than even We aspire to be. Necar is one of the seven Founding Deities, and a powerful one no less. Necar reigns over Death, Decay, and Discord. His brother that you spoke of, We have suspicion to believe is Tepidus who rules over the domain of fire, and is the patron god of self expression. . . .surprisingly at first, but not so shocking if you ever meet him.

Well. . . We hope that this clarifies things at least a bit, but you must keep it a secret from the general public."

Archaic and I walk in with the spice. "We made it to the island with the Niseag and have returned with the spice you requested sir. I am also pleased to say we've made a friend on the international scale."

Billgar claps and a servant takes the spices. After the servant is off to the side, bean notices her pass the spice off to a guard wearing aluminum plating, however, the face of the guard is covered by a white piece of paper with some strange symbol written on it in red.

"Would you mind explaining to use the International friend in even greater detail?"

Another servant brings bean half the GC, the other half will be given to archaic.
