As the moon light shades on the arena, the sound of chains rattling from around. The judge steps in and jumps onto one of the rattling chains, causing his scythes chains to follow suit.
"Sorry I am a little late, I had things to do, right then, both of you make your presence known in the order of beanbaker then Archaicmessiah."

Looking at the pale moon, I wonder what horrid creatures lurk tonight. Jutte in hand, I stand ready. "So Archaic, shall we get this farce over with?"

*Archaic gets up off the ground and picks up his gladius. Attaching a string to it he gets ready for the long fight. Before doing anything, he licks the blade and can taste a hint of blood on it. Delicious.*

Right then," with that I shake my scythe so slightly as to hear the chains clatter lightly. "Let's get this battle started. Beanbaker start!"

Right after the word "start" echoed to my ears I was charging forward. "Your little puppet tricks are almost ineffective at close-quarter combat." I jump, landing inches away from Archaic, jam my jutte into his gladius to attempt a disarming, then to spin around and plant the hilt of my weapon into his temple.

Attempting to disarm Archaic, beanbaker fails miserably. However, doing so causes him to be in a good position to attack Archaic as he said he would. Landing the hilt on Archaic's temple, landing a devastatingly strong blow. The blow sends Archaic back 5 feet before he gets up.
beanbaker does 96 damage.

*Archaic wipes the spot of his injury and laughs.*

"Oh theres one thing you must realize about my weapon... I don't need to be far away to use it, I just love taunting my enemies from a distance before delivering a close combat killing blow that causes their blood to pour like a sprinkler ontop of me.

*With that Archaic throws his gladius at beanbaker's chest and makes two whipping motions as it comes close, causing the gladius to make an x.*

As Archaicmessiah throws the gladius, then catches it before slashing once over beanbakers chest, getting it to dig in only a little bit. After trying to slash again, beanbaker uses his jutte to catch the sword.
Archaicmessiah does 51 damage.

"Ha! I got worse when an old lady beat me with her cane!" Using the jutte, I pull the gladius forward, to disarm and pull Archaic forward as well, using his inertia, and thrusting my jutte forward, to land a direct hit to his skull.

Banbaker makes Archaic move up but is unable to disarm archaic. As beanbaker tries to hit Archaic's skull he instead lands a huge hit on Archaic's back knocking him down. rolling over and flipping up, Archaic gets ready to attack.
Beanbaker does 68 damage.

"Hahahaha here I come!"

*Archaic runs up to Beanbaker and attempts a quick slash, followed by wrapping the string around his neck and chocking him a little before Archaic throws his gladius once more at beanbaker and unravels the noose.*

While Archaic slashes, it does only a long, but not too deep cut. However, it was enough to make beanbaker wince with pain. During this time Archaic tries to wrap the string around beanbaker. It distracts beanbaker long enough for Archaic to get some distance between them and allowed Archaic to throw the sword without beanbaker fully seeing it. Too late to react the blade goes into beanbaker. Archaic runs up and frees it, causing blood to come dripping from the wound.
Archaic does 130 damage.

"Yeah, if you're going to drink that, I should charge you." I go for a high kick to the face to set him off guard, turn and upper-cut the bottom of the sternum, then hook the hilt of his gladius to pull his sword from him.

Kicking Archaic in the face, it lands scare on the temple bring him down. As such when Beanbaker tries to upper cut him it barely even nicks him, let alone connect with the gladius.
beanbaker does 44 damage.
Furthermore, beanbaker steps on a switch, causing the roof to come down, beanbaker is forced to get off his lacrimabilis or else he would be killed. The lacrimabilis ran out of the arena in fright.

*Archaic charges up to beanbaker and wipes his gladius across the injury. Getting blood on it, he continues to run away and licks the blood. Laughing, he throws the gladius at Beanbaker. Running up he punches beanbaker and pulls away the gladius*
