Having no coils of rope handy, Jack hands Billgar a large net with a long rope attached to it.  The net is full of little burs designs to catch a fish's or serpent's scales without actually harming it.  There net also appears to have been soaked in some sort of animal blood to ensure something is attracted to the net.  With a shrug, Billgar takes the net and heads out on the lake in the dingy out back.

Despite the gloomily, rainy morning, Billgar cheerifully throws the net out into the lake and waits to see what happens.

Not until a couple of hours have pasted before Billgar feels something in the rope.  He quickly gives it a sharp tug, hoping this is the right thing to do, and begins to haul his catch in.

A gyster if water shoots up, startling Gerald into a cloud of wet feathers and squawks.  Two more blast out, running parallel to the rope, and pounding into Billgar's face.  After taking worse blows from his training, never mind from past battles, he merely blinks the water out of his eyes and begins to fight back.  The next blast of water is met by Billgar's own magic and a solid piece of air diverts the water aside with ease.  With little strain, hand over hand, Billgar hauls the net in.  Thin whips of water lash at the boat, waves crash against it, torrets of water smash at the fisher, even a small whirlpool started up under the boat, but its all easily thwarted by Billgar as he uses a combination of solid air to shield the boat and himself, and using his magic to calm the waters forming the whirlpool before being dragged under.

All this happens in a short minute, a long minute to Billgar and the fish.  Finally, Billgar gets the net out of the water.  He takes a moment to untagle the net and its burs to find his catch.  A large grin breaks out on his face as he looks down on an exhausted, 2ft skullfish.

Once back at shop, Jack hands Billgar a jar with a picture of a Skullfish etched into its side somehow.  Once the fish is in the jar, Jack takes the net and sets to work untangling, cleaning, repairing, and folding it.

Obtained Skullfish if 350gc tax paid

Billgar decides he will give the GC to the vault later and wanders off with his Skullfish and a smile.
