*Archaic finds an empty building and gets the greatest idea he has had in a while. A pet shop that specialized primarily in the very elusive... Female Suru Beetle! And a male lump bird. *

"Come one, come all to get your very own pet!"

*3 Suru Beetle (f) remaining for 200 GC each*

Looking at the suru beetle, I think for a second. "Tell me, is it possible to barter the price down a little. While it may be good to get one, I may also want to keep my money for now."

Bartering is always an option, but I am rather stubborn so do make sure that you barter well or it will be for not. However, for you I am willing to go as low as 175 and one rost.

I walk in and start petting the lump bird. "Does it have a name by any chance?" I start scratching its back and letting it perch on my arm.

*the emperor picks up a beetle and turns it over. cocking his head to one side, the ruler of nocte slowly reaches forth his finger and pokes the beetle in the belly. Its legs flail around. He smiles and lets out a faint, but noticeable squeal of joy(the emperor, not the beetle).*

"Well if it is to accompany your lump bird, We would not reccomend seeking out the companionship of a sarmune, as it may just get a little too hungry. However, lump birds have occasionally be known to accept a tonsor into their gaggles. "

Billgar once again pokes the beetle, and this time laughs a little bit, smiling ear to ear.

*Archaic makes his presence known and presents the emperor with a beetle from off his stock.*

"I do not have any older beetles that I wish to give away, however, I will be up for a beetle battle and either allow one of your beetles to mature, or sell you the matured beetle for 50 GC. Also, can I just say that I'd be willing to give my precious 4 inch female suru beetle for one of those new Kegawas or possibly even an ignotus gnar."

With the lump bird already rummaging through my stuff and buried deep in my bag, I yell out, "I'll take it!" I hand over 30 GC. "No discount necessary, you won what you won by chance, and I did nothing to receive and discount!"

"Have fun with that one... truly he is worthy of being king of the lumpbirds, and by that I clearly mean that he is ridiculously lazy. With that all I have left are beetles, but they are still the cheapest beetles you can get, and they're all female if you know what I mean."

Billgar pulls out a beetle conspicuously stashed in his uniform.

"Hrmm I do have one that is 4 inches long, perhaps if you raise one thats slightly bigger I will be able to obtain that 6 inch status, but by then perhaps it will be too precious to me."

*Archaic waits twenty seconds before blurting out laughing at his own joke.*
