Have you ever paid close attention to someone while they cook?
It can be quite entertainig at times. My mother is frying chicken or something and the oil splashed up a bit and she said "Your mother" to the chicken... like it would get offened

I generally do not watch, but recently I have been tempted as it is a decent way to learn. I need to learn how to cook before I graduate from college, in three years... It is a very VERY useful skill.

I just like to watch water boil or stare into the microwave. My grandparents always tell me that the water will not boil if I kept watching it. They lied.

Indeed, bu I do not have the patients to do that., I start to boil the water then come onto LE. It is also the main reason I never watch food get made.

YAY! I can cook! Becuz i live alone during the summer and if i didnt discover how then iw ould starve and die or exhaust all my monies on take out and never ahve interweb again!

I can only cook basic things, but I think I am good at following recipes so I can at least pretend to be a good cook when the time comes. Until then it is hamburgers and sausage to me.
