Dicks last resort is a restaurant that is pretty great. The waiters/ waitresses try to make fun of you and belittle you. You do not get plates, only this paper that you use to eat the food on, which comes in a bucket. At the end they usually give the people make-shift hats out of the same type of paper that you use for your plates, and on them they put messages ranging from hilarious, to not so great (mine).
When I went the waitress was not the best, as she only targeted one person in general. The girl who was sitting next to that guy got a hat that said I'm with stupid pointing to the guy. Furthermore, the guy was tolled orange soda was for sissies (even though she did not comment on my other friend ordering a pink lemonade -.-). The guys hat itself was great as it was about daily relief we will say. One of the best moments was when we needed straws, the waitress threw a bunch from two tables over at us. It was worth going.
(also, I figured restaurants deal with food and as such this may turn that way soon enough hence why under food).

| Yeah I hear a lot of good things about the atmosphere there... which is a bit bizarre all things considered. Still, I hate to bring this up so early, but was the food good at all? I mean its one thing to go for giggles, but if the food is not good, then it most certainly is not worth going more than like one or two times. |

The food was decent there. I mean the prices were not too bad, but maybe a little high considering some of my chicken seemed almost under cooked. However the amount you get varies between a lot or a little, so be careful with what you order. What stinks is you do not see what the meals look like as there is no menu, just a chalkboard with what you can eat for that day/meal. I personally would go there alone for some ribs and chicken again. _________________

| It reminds me of another restaurant in North Carolina known as "Dirty Dick's Crab House" The food is absolutely amazing. They dont insult you but they come over and say phrases like "Hows the food? Good! Now you can tell everyone you got crabs from Dirty Dicks!" Which is a riot. They also sell 7 inch long 1 inch diameter wooden poll that say "Dirty Dicks Crab House" on them. The sign underneath it says "Its a crab Mallet! What did you think it was?" |

Ah the amount of jokes that can be made for both. I think it is great when places serve good food with good humor like that. Those are the places I would like to eat at on occasion.
